GABRIEL

Now we have to go there and put her mind at rest. More risk. All because of you.

HOLLY

Sorry.

Gabriel glances to the flat window. His face drops. He freezes.

GABRIEL

There’s something up there.

Holly and Jonah glance desperately up at the window. A slight shadow moves behind it. They start and gasp. At the window the curtain moves. A FIGURE appears. It fills the window with the enormity of its presence. Holly and Jonah squint up at it in horror, but seconds later Gabriel’s face changes to a relieved smile.

GABRIEL

You know who that is … come on!

His mood totally changed, he jogs across the road. Holly and Jonah trot behind.

INT. LIVING ROOM, FLAT – DAY

Gabriel leads Holly and Jonah into the room. ELEMIAH (40s, male, huge) smiles at them all, holds up a door key. He is dressed casually, his manner serene. The Moses basket rocks on the coffee table. Holly and Jonah burst into smiles, run to him.

HOLLY/JONAH

Elemiah!

He laughs, hugs them both, then he and Gabriel hug affectionately.

ELEMIAH

(seriously, to Gabriel)

It was alone—

GABRIEL

Holly left the flat. Jonah and I had to go and look for her.

HOLLY

It won’t happen again.

GABRIEL

Give me the door key.

Holly fishes it from her pocket, hands it to him. She glances at Jonah’s hard expression, and to the Baby, before she skulks from the room.

INT. BEDROOM, FLAT – THE NEXT MORNING

Holly wakes. She lies beside a sleeping Gabriel. Jonah isasleep on his other side. Holly glances at them, slowly swings her feet to the floor. The sun streams through the curtains across her face.

GABRIEL (O.S.)

What are you thinking?
