I am a true crime author with a long track record in crime reporting andhuman-interest journalism. I’ve been commissioned by Kronos to write a book about the Alperton Angels and would like to interview Gabriel Angelis.
I believe it is very much in the public interest to explore the confluence of events that led to the formation of the Alperton Angels cult. Not least to understand the life path that led Mr Angelis and his followers to conduct the terrible crimes they committed and ensure such a tragedy never happens again.
I understand he has not, in the past, agreed to media interviews. However, the youngest victim of the cult, Holly and Jonah’s baby, is about to turn eighteen and there will be a flurry of coverage. I believe it is only fair he is offered the opportunity to get his side of the story across. Yours faithfully,
Amanda Bailey

Don said you’d be in touch. I was called out to look after the girl and boy immediately after the awful events in the warehouse. It was a strange case. We can FaceTime or Zoom if you like?

STOP watching porn and get back to work. Have you read White Wings by Mark Dunning?
Oliver Menzies
It’s over 400 pages. And I don’t think you’ve read it for one second.

Supernatural cold war espionage thriller with floaty, ethereal characters you’re never quite sure are real or not. Omniscientbaddies who vaporise horribly, yet most of the action is invisible to humans. Despite this, it’s a pretty old-school plot – not to mention the way he describes the female characters …
Oliver Menzies
What do you mean?
Amanda Bailey
Let’s just say I don’t know how he met his deadlines typing with one hand.

It says in the acknowledgements ‘thanks to those who spoke to me about the Alperton Angels case who were so generous with their time and expertise’. Who do you think spoke to him?
Oliver Menzies
If he flew from the US to London to research his book, then I want his life.
Amanda Bailey
He died in a car crash ten days ago. Didn’t you read about it?
Oliver Menzies
Shit. No. Anyway, it’s just fiction. Meaningless. I’m only interested in facts. Truth.
Amanda Bailey
The FACT this case inspired so many creative people is interesting in itself. Isn’t it? The mythology is all part of the truth. Plus, the baby will have possibly read, but almost definitely SEEN, fictional things inspired by their own experiences – possibly without realising. Crazy, right?
