I am now a primary school teacher, but in 2004 I worked as a researcher for a television director. My boss wanted to make a documentary about the Alperton Angels so we began pulling contacts together and trying to get broadcasters interested. Almost as soon as we started, my boss took a phone call. She left the office, told me to lock up and that she’d see me the next day. That night she died in a fire at her home. It was ruled an accident. The documentary was never made. I don’t know why I’m telling you. It was such a long time ago. I heard you on the podcast – my son had it on – and I felt compelled to let you know what happened to Suzi Korman. Sorry.

DEAD WOMAN NAMED
The woman killed in a house fire on Lordship Lane, Wood Green, has been named as documentary maker Suzi Korman, 41. Ms Korman lived alone at the flat where the fire broke out in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The fire service say initial signs are the fire started at an old electrical point.

Listen. I had a meeting about the mad squaddie. Police say they can’t link him to the nuisance calls. It’s an old electronic number and the dialling codes make no sense, so they can’t track it. I’ll forward it to you. I can disconnect the landline so if the calls start coming through on my mobile, they’ll know it’s a stalker and they’ll be easier to trace.
