The night was far from over, and Tonia obviously knew it as she took my hand and we headed back out onto the street and towards her apartment.

~Tonia~

Though Cam had briefly been in my apartment before, that night was the first time he could see all of it, and he looked around curiously as I took him into the living room.

“Do you want a drink?” I asked as I ducked into the kitchen to get myself some water. My throat felt a bit dry after all my heavy breathing out in the dry air of the back alley, and since I hoped to return the favour Cam had just shown me, I wanted to be a little better lubricated before I got started.

“Water,” Cam agreed, sounding a little dry himself. “Please.”

While I poured out two glasses, he examined the pictures on my wall, stopping in front of one from Dex’s wedding featuring the whole wedding party, including him. I couldn’t have imagined on that day that he would be there in my apartment, that we’d be on the brink of renewing our relationship, and that I would actually be incredibly happy about it.

“I told you that day that I was always going to be in your life,” he reminded me with a smirk as I handed him his drink.

“I almost put a sticker over your face,” I shot back before his ego got too big. “But now, I suppose I’m glad I didn’t.”

“I’m glad too, Sugar.” He grinned again as he took a seat, his pants tight across his groin, and I sat down next to him. While he’d satisfied me a few minutes ago, he was obviously still in a state of anticipation, and though I did intend to do something about it, there was something else I wanted to ask him about first.

“Where do you think we would have been now if we hadn’t broken up? In an alternate universe where Tonia and Cam went to prom together, what do you think happened next?”

The look Cam gave me was slightly confused. “Let’s not waste time worrying about that. We can’t change it now, we can only focus on the here and now.”

“I know that,” I assured him. “I’m just curious. Back then, how did you see our future?”

“Honestly?” He took another swig from his glass before putting it on the coffee table and turning to me. “I thought we’d be married a long time ago. I thought we might have a kid or two by now, if you wanted to. But otherwise, our lives were pretty much the same: me with an executive office, you kicking ass with your own business. The only thing missing in my life, Tonia, the only thing keeping it from being exactly how I dreamt it, is you.”

That was just how I felt too. When I’d imagined my future life back in high school, I saw myself running my business, living in my downtown apartment, with Cam at my side. I definitely wanted kids too, though I wasn’t quite sure just yet how that would fit in with my business. I would need to figure that out when the time came.

“So, that’s still what you want, right?” I asked, needing to hear the words out loud to confirm that we were fully on the same page. “The family, I mean, and all the rest of it.”

He leaned back with a grin. “Are you asking me to marry you, Sugar?”

My eyes narrowed to a withering glare. “If I was asking you, you’d know it. I just want to be sure we both know what we’re doing here and there aren’t any false expectations.”

“You’re making plans, aren’t you?” he continued to tease me. “You want your whole life planned out as neat and tidy as those calendars you were showing me at work. Real life doesn’t work that way, Tonia.”

I knew that, and I also knew he was avoiding the question, so I raised the stakes by placing my hand directly on the stiff bulge in his pants. “If you want any help with this, you’ll answer the damn question, Bailey.”

He did his best to stifle the groan in his throat. “You’re making it a little hard to think right now. How do you know I’ll tell you the truth when you’ve given me that kind of incentive?”

My hand drifted lower, down to his balls, squeezing just a little. “Because I know you’re smarter than to lie to me again.”

He gave an amused, but slightly nervous laugh. “Fair enough.” Taking my hand, he removed it from his groin and leaned over, kissing me softly. “Yes, Tonia. I still want all that, and God help me, I still want it all with you. I don’t think I ever stopped wanting it. If you want to take it slow, we’ll take it slow. If you want to be married in a month, I honestly wouldn’t object. Now, for the love of all that’s holy, can I please take my pants off?”

His earnest and desperate tone made me giggle, and I gave in, sliding off the couch and onto my knees on the floor in front of him. Cam’s eyelids were heavy as he looked down at me.

“You don’t know how many times I’ve dreamt about this.”

“I have a feeling reality will be even better,” I teased, undoing his pants and pulling them down as he raised his hips to help me. We’d had sex the other night and I’d jerked him off just last night at the restaurant, but it had been a long, long time since I tasted him and I couldn’t wait to get my mouth on him again.

He was already hard and getting harder by the second as I ran my fingers lightly up and down his thick shaft. When my tongue connected with it, starting at the base and working my way slowly to the tip, Cam let out a long, deep groan.

“Fuck, Sugar, you were right. No dream is this good.”

That was just what I wanted to hear, and I hadn’t even gotten started yet.

My tongue pressed harder and flicked faster as I moved up and down the length of him, one hand holding his base and the other moving up his stomach beneath his shirt, at least until he unbuttoned it and pulled it off, giving me unfettered access to his firm and toned chest.

His cock twitched and stiffened beneath my touch, and when I thought he’d had enough teasing, I slowly lifted him upright from the base so that I could look directly at him while I wrapped my lips around his head and took him into my mouth.
