He presses his lips together and glances away, which isn’t a‘no, we’re not together, and she hasn’t sucked my dick’answer.

Okay.

Turning to straddle his lap, I press my hand on his pec, and his gaze darkens as I slide my palm up his deep red shirt to grab hold of his throat, his hands gravitating to my hips that are barely concealed by the dress riding up my thighs. I hold the glass over his mouth, and his brows pinch together when I pull the champagne away just before he can drink the liquid. Instead, I knock back the rest, placing the glass down on a chair, his heavy breath hitting my lips with a low moan as I grip his neck tighter and spit the sweet substance onto his tongue once he opens for me.

Everyone erupts with cheer, but not a single person is present when that sweet tongue enters my mouth. It’s only me, Lennox, and the liquor guiding us, our hands roaming, yanking at the clothes in the way of our bodies—and I can’t get enough. I want more of him, so much more.

“Ohh, Luca’s gonna kill me. Bar Babe! Give me another round. Gotta make sure I’m still drunk when I get home.”

Enzo’s voice splits through my drunken haze, and I break the kiss, staring into a pair of golden hues, mesmerized by the specks of green in the left, one of the many sexy things about Lennox that I really fucking like—shit.

“Wanna dance?” he asks as the music turns up.

I nod, inching off his lap, and Lennox fixes the hem of my dress before he stands. Placing one hand on my stomach, he draws me close to his body, the other threading through my fingers. It takes a moment to relax and lean into him, allowing him to take control and give my trust in my current state. The song is sensual, the rhythm moving us as he slowly matches my pace, entirely in sync. I rest my head on his shoulder, and Lennox takes the chance to run his lips along my neck while I grind harder on him.

His erection has already grown thick, and a shiver shoots up my spine as he takes hold of my throat, stroking his thumb across my jaw. The warmth within my belly from the many drinks turns into a heat of desire as Lennox turns my face toward him, dipping forward, and I close my eyes as our lips connect again.

Facing him, I moan into his mouth when he draws me flush to his body, walking me backward to press up against the wall. Lennox grabs a fist full of my hair and tilts my head back, our kiss breaking as he hovers above my mouth, gazing into my eyes. His teasing tongue brushes against my lips, and I whimper for more, making him grin.

“What do you want, Peaches?” Slowly he trails his hand down my spine, urging me into his hard dick by my ass. “Tell me,” he moans, breathing me in with a firm kiss. “Tell me you want me as bad as I want you, baby.”

“Lex…”

I glide my nails along the back of his head, and he crushes his mouth on mine. Climbing him while he lifts me, I wrap my legs around his hips as he keeps hold of my bare thigh, kneading my ass, pressing forward, grunting loudly against my lips, our kiss turning unruly. Nipping, sucking, unfazed if anyone’s watching because I’m drunk off this man, needing to know what he can do to me, to let him in just this once.

Let him in.

What’s the worst that can happen?

There’s a weight on my finger that wasn’t there last night—it’s suffocating. My heart drops the second I touch a ring.

“What the fuck?” I mumble, my mouth tasting like death, and I raise my head too quickly. “Okay, that’s not happening.”

Taking a few breaths, I attempt at a slower pace, and there, on my left hand, resides a diamond ring.

This can’t be real.

“Mornin’, wife.”

I gasp, whipping around, and instantly regret my decision as my head sways.

“Lex, what—” I hold my tongue as he leans back on the wall, focusing his gaze on my chest while sipping his coffee. Glancing down, I roll my eyes, grab the sheet, and cover my bare breasts. “What happened last night?”

“Looks like we got hitched,” he says, then nods to the end table. “Got you some water and pain meds.”

I squeeze my eyes shut, willing myself to wake up from this dream, then glance down at my finger again where the rock still sits. “No, we didn’t.”

Pushing off the wall, he strolls to sit next to me. “I’m in the dark just as much as you are, but photos don’t lie.”

“What photos?”

Lennox draws his phone from his pocket, brings up his photo app, then hands it to me. There are numerous pictures of a wedding chapel—some of us standing with an officiant. Enzo’s next to me with a bowtie secured around his head instead of his neck, wearing a flower crown, and holding a bouquet with a blonde chick attached to his hip.

“Oh my—I’m gonna be sick.” I press my hands to my mouth as I burp, whatever content is still left in my stomach rising, and I swallow it, scrunching my nose at the aftertaste. “Fuck.”

“That was sexy,” he says, then chuckles as I glare at him.
