“I thought there wasn’t going to be a next time.”
She chuckled a little.
“No, there won’t be,” she said.
I smiled and grabbed one of her wrists, stroking the sensitive skin there.
“I won’t ever be so stupid as to allow you to walk away again,” I said. “Because I love you too.”
I could see more tears appear in her eyes, and her smile grew bigger.
“You do?”
I nodded.
“I am crazy about you,” I said.
She laughed happily, and I could honestly say I was only falling more in love with her. That smile. The happy look on her face. She was perfect, and she made my heart beat so damn fast that I feared it might just jump out of my chest. I knew it would follow her though, and she would keep it safe.
“And you are giving me the best gift,” I said and placed my other hand on her stomach.
“You’re sure about this?”
“How many times do I have to answer that?” I asked.
She just pressed her forehead against mine.
“I just don’t want you to feel like you have to do anything. That is not how I want to start this,” she said.
“And what isthis?”
“You and me. Forever, hopefully,” she whispered.
Yes, I just fell in love with her even more. How she did it I had no idea. I didn’t think I could possibly love her more, but it seemed like Valeri was going to continue to surprise me day after day, and I couldn’t have been happier. She was everything I had ever dreamt of.
“You got me,” I said. “Forever.”
She smiled such a sweet smile, and I had to say I felt a little dizzy because of it.
“I don’t feel like I have to do anything. Iwantto,” I told her.
“You want it?”
“I want it all, sweetheart,” I told her.
She chuckled happily and then kissed me hard. Damn, she left me feeling breathless. She was a little vixen, but she was allmine, and I wouldn’t trade this out for anything. It might have been a little rocky between us, but I saw a bright future ahead. At least I hoped it was bright.
“I love you so much,” she said. “Just … just make me yours.”
I pulled back, looking at her a little shocked.
“Are you sure?” I asked.
She nodded eagerly.
“Yes, I am certain,” she told me.
I grabbed her hand and quickly led her out of the room and back to my bedroom. I wasn’t going to hold back now that she had told me she wanted to be mine completely.
