“Geez, Mom, don’t get your panties in a twist,” Paula muttered as she snatched her hand away and dropped it into her lap.

“I’m afraid you might disturb the molecular structure of the shellac they sprayed on there and make a hole if you touch it.”

“She’s probably already got a big hole,” Blue teased.

Paula scoffed. “Whatever. You’ve got three big holes.”

“Three?” Jenn asked with a confused look.

“That mouth of hers is bigger than the Grand Canyon. It’s like a black hole that just spouts bullshit day and night.”

“Fuck you, tiny person,” Blue grumbled.

“Sasquatch.”

“Ho bag.”

“Skank nugget.”

“Twatwaffle.”

“Children!” Jenn yelled at the arguing women. “We look like fancy ladies, so let’s chill out and use our manners.”

“When did you buy Blue manners?” Brea teased.

“I will throw down with you, woman,” Blue threatened.

“Bring it, Sasquatch!”

“You’re making me cry,” Frankie wheezed through her laughter. “If you make my mascara run, I’ll kill all three of you.”

“Total mafia princess, worried about her makeup,” Paula teased.

“I’ve never had this much makeup on in my life,” Frankie said as she fanned her face.

“All of you look beautiful,” Maylee assured us.

“Look at my cheekbones!” I exclaimed as I pointed to my face. “Where did those come from?”

“They put some on me too,” Pandora said as she stood up and walked over to stand in front of the mirror. She turned around and looked at our friends and said, “We look good. Do you think we could do this at home?”

“I need to scratch my nose, but I’m terrified I’m going to mess something up,” Frankie admitted before she started scrunching her face up to move her nose around.

“You only feel like you need to because you can’t,” Matalie told her. “Scratch the inside of your wrist and get the need to scratch something out of your system. Your nose should stop itching.”

Frankie scratched a few times and then looked at Matalie in amazement. “Holy shit. It worked.”

“Okay! Let’s get back on track. We need to get Frankie into her dress, and then we’ll help each other. Brea, you’re in charge of pictures.”

“Got it,” Brea said as she walked across the room and picked up her camera.

“First thing we’ve got to do is wash our hands to make sure we don’t smudge anything on the dress,” Jenn reminded everyone.

Everyone got up and spread out around the suite to wash up before they met back in the living room. Once we were all back together, I unzipped the garment bag that was hanging on the end of the curtain rod that went across the terrace windows.

“God, that dress is beautiful, Franks,” Paula whispered in awe. “You’re really going to be a princess.”

“Is her second dress in the other bag?” Pandora asked.
