“I spent more than half the day with her. You’d think she’d have mentioned an itinerary.”
“I think you’re grumpy because you don’t want to go skating,” Harper ribbed. “I’m excited!”
“And I’m excited for you,” I said as I sat up in bed. I put my hands over my face and took a few deep breaths as I waited for the room to stop spinning. “Good grief. This week is going to kill me.”
“You’re still drunk, aren’t you?” Hannah asked.
“What makes you think I drank today?” I hedged as I wondered how in the hell we’d gotten back to the hotel.
