“That’s my assumption. I haven’t gone through the security footage yet, but I plan to and I’m betting we’ll see all three of them in there. Might not all enter at the same time to keep from arousing suspicion.”

“Is there another entrance or exit to the suite?” Ice asked.

Code took another moment and pulled up the blueprints and a picture of the building. “I’m not seeing anything, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t. It would make sense that they don’t want people knowing they’re there together.”

“Or,” Steel said slowly, eyes narrowing in concentration, “those other rooms aren’t for them.”

“You think it’s for the victims,” Rogue realized.

“Would be odd for them to stay with her. But that’s what we’re assuming, so we would be looking for all three of them together. It’s possible they’re on a whole other floor, or they’re not even at the hotel, to keep themselves from getting caught. Those two assholes won’t be the kind this bitch will want to spend her evenings with, that’s for sure.”

Rogue had to agree. “They probably go to the hotel and take the victims from there,” he said carefully, working through it in his head. “I mean, how would it look for her to be holding them? She probably lures them back to the hotel somehow, drugs them, and then calls the men to come and get them.”

“So how are they getting them out of the hotel without suspicion?” Fury wondered aloud.

“Is there another entrance anywhere in the inn?” Ice asked.

“There’s a service entrance, and then another entrance in the kitchen that the staff uses,” Code answers.

“Kitchen’s too busy and obvious,” Ice frowned. “So that leaves the service entrance. Is that easily accessible?”

Code clicked a few more buttons. “Yeah, it looks like it’s not guarded and not heavily used,” he finally answered.

“Do you have images showing the back of the building where it’s located?” Steel asked. Code pulled them up. “There you go,” Steel said with a nod. “It’s sheltered, hidden, and unless you’re a big semi, you won’t see a vehicle from the street.”

“Who runs the inn?” Savaged asked.

“Pascal and Inez Florez,” Code answered after some digging. “Both are originally from California and bought the inn a few years ago.”

“California?” Rogue said, narrowing his eyes thoughtfully.

“A coincidence?” Fury asked, though his voice was doubtful.

“Either way, we need a plan before they realize we’re on to them,” Rogue said calmly. “Because I want my girls protected, and we can’t do that sitting here staring at pieces of the puzzle. We cut the head off a snake, and we’ll see what else slithers out and then crush them all.”

CHAPTERTHIRTY-FIVE

SCARLETT

“Ishould come down there, tie your butt up, and drag it back here,” Lewis growled through the phone. His anger was palpable.

“Might not want to do that,” Wren snickered. “She might like it.”

“Wren!” Scarlett hissed, horrified.

“What?” Lewis barked, even as Marc started laughing.

“Nothing,” Scarlett hurried to assure him, while giving the girls the stink eye. Both girls grinned at her wickedly. Damn it.

“Whatever, I don’t give a shit. I want to know what the hell you’re still doing there,” Lewis continued. “And who the hell are these bikers?”

“Hold on a minute,” Marc quickly broke in before anyone could answer. “I think that can wait. I want to know the whole story of how you figured out they were there and after you.”

“I don’t know that they were after us,” Scarlett corrected. “I think they were there and we happened to be shopping at the same time. I’m just glad the girls spotted them, or this could be a whole other situation.”

“Always knew you were my favorite,” Marc joked.

“Which one of us?” Win asked with a laugh.
