"Weird coincidence," I said.

"What?" he asked.

"My mother's name was Laura."

"Was?"

His eyes seemed to turn scared, as I nodded.

"But you saidis. They can't be the same," I quickly said.

"Right ..."

An uncomfortable silence suddenly fell over us. Aaron studied me for a long time, and I really just wanted to find Dominic now. This was getting weird.

"Well, if you will excuse me," I said, and walked away, quickly pushing myself through the crowd, but as I looked back, I saw Aaron was watching me.

It didn't really make me feel much safer. I quickly walked over to the champagne tower, finding Dominic talking to some people. He smiled at me, as he saw me, and quickly pulled me to his side, yet he must have noticed the worried look on my face.

"Are you all right?" he leaned down and whispered.

I looked behind me, but I couldn't see this Aaron anymore, so I turned back to Dominic.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I lied.

He didn't really seem to believe me, but he wasn't asking me more questions though, and instead turned back to the conversation in front of him. I still felt weirded out though, and quickly said I needed some air. I found the first door that led outside and walked into a beautiful garden. There were only a few people out here, so it was nice and quiet. I found a small fountain and sat down on the edge of it, looking at the water. It was shining under the stars and the moon.

Suddenly, someone appeared out of a bush beside me, and I wasn't surprised when I saw it was Gabriel. His clothes were a complete mess and even here in the dark, I could see he had lipstick on his mouth and the side of his cheek. I shook my head as I watched him brush a hand through his hair, getting all the leaves out. Then he noticed me.

"Well, well ..."

"I should be saying that," I said. "You got something on your face though."

He ran his fingers down the side of his cheek, but he did not get any of the lipstick away.

"Better?"

"Much," I chuckled.

Gabriel walked over to me, fixing his clothes on the way, before sitting down beside me, leaning back a little and sighing contently.

"Fun night?" I asked.

"It is definitely getting better by the second," he chuckled.

"How did you escape Ace?"

He winked at me and said:

"Who said I did?"

"Is he really watching you while you have sex?" I asked.

"Kinky, right?"

I wasn't sure I believed him, but I didn't want to have anything confirmed either, so I just shook my head.

"Why are you out here?" he asked.
