I chuckled a little, and then he started to kiss his way down my neck, making me tighten my legs around him and rock my hips back and forth a little, wanting more of him. Now that I was no longer fighting, I was giving myself completely over to him. I couldn't stop myself. I needed more. I needed him.
"Careful, little wolf," he whispered in my ear. "Don't play with fire."
He bit the skin on the side of my neck gently, but for some reason, a thought popped into my head, and I wanted him to bite down. I wanted him to mark me, and I even wanted him to drink from me. I wanted to know what that was like.
"Maybe I like fire," I panted.
He growled deeply, clearly liking to hear me say this.
"What did Gabriel do to you?" he chuckled.
I couldn't help but laugh too.
"Nothing. I ran away from him."
"What?!"
Dominic pulled back and an angry fire had now taken place in his dark eyes. I quickly shook my head and placed my hands on the sides of his face, kissing him gently. His whole body seemed to shake, and I felt so damn powerful knowing I was the one who could calm him down like this. As I pulled back again, he didn't look so angry, still not pleased, but at least it didn't seem like he wanted to go kill Gabriel, as he had a moment ago.
"Explain," he told me, but not harshly.
"Bedroom," I said instead.
His eyes narrowed slightly, and a burning lust showed in them, but he did as I told him. I tried to make him let go of me, so I could walk, but instead, he carried me up the stairs and all the way to our bedroom ...Our? Could I call it that? Ah fuck it, I was going to call it whatever I wanted to. As we got inside, he finally lowered me, but onto the bed, so I was lying on my back, and he was hovering over me. He got rid of his jacket, throwing it away, and then he removed the gun holster, placing it on the nightstand, before he hovered over me again. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him down to me, but he didn't let me pull him all the way so I could kiss him again.
"Still waiting for the explanation," he said. "I need to know if I am killing Gabriel tonight."
"Something tells me you have been waiting for an opportunity," I chuckled.
The side of his mouth curved a little, but he didn't answer that. I tried pulling him closer again, but he didn't let me.
"Dominic!" I said annoyed.
He growled, sounding very satisfied as he heard me say his name.
"Say it again," he told me.
"What?"
"My name. Say it," he commanded.
With my arms wrapped around his neck, I pulled myself a little higher, lifting myself off the bed and then placing myself so there were only inches between our lips.
"Dominic ...kiss me," I told him.
His dark eyes seemed to glow yellow shortly, before he kissed me hard, pressing me into the bed, but he didn't let his hands nor his lips roam. He just kissed me hard, biting down on my lower lip and making me whimper, before he pulled back, so he was standing again, and I was just lying there. I pushed up on my elbows looking annoyed.
"Hello!" I said.
He just smiled and crossed his arms, stepping back to lean against the wall behind him.
"Still waiting," he said.
"Can't we deal with this after?" I asked.
"After what?"
"After!" I said.
