Liam smiled, and the grin was one of his real ones. "Thank you."

"Neither of you ever talk about the relationship, so forgive me if I'm a bit out of sorts."

"It's all good. Yeah, we don't talk about us with people."

"You only make documentaries that show you falling in love with each other."

Liam laughed alongside the audience.

"That's right. Although it wasn't the official theme of the film, we stopped arguing with people when they tell us it also shows the start of our relationship."

"You also have a successful indie production company together."

"Yes. We're pretty proud of what we've built together with Jump Cannon Productions."

"It's a family business, I understand?"

Liam nodded. "My brother and Ana's best friend are part of it. The four of us make a great team together."

"But it hasn't always been easy."

"No. We've had some ups and downs with the tabloids but, luckily, besides the random fake scandal or pictures of us living our life, we're just not that interesting to them anymore."

"You're just an old married couple. Boring."

Liam laughed. "Exactly. It's what I wanted. Being an old, married man."

"I'm just going to warn the network that they're going to have to bleep part of this but— Liam, you clearly got what you wanted. You look happy as fuck!

Liam laughed. It warmed Ana's heart.

"Congratulations again, Liam. Thank you so much for coming here today. Liam McMillan, everybody!"

The show on the screen continued, going to commercials. Ana leaned back on the sofa, expecting Liam to come into the room any time now. When he did, she jumped out of the couch and into his arms.

"Sorry it took me a bit," he said. "I ended up chatting with people up there."

"It went great!"

"Now we can be rid of the speculation. Ely can retire from trying to keep up with the tabloids."

"Ready to do this, then?"

He smiled and, without words, reached for her neck. Getting under the collar of her blouse, he found the chain around it and pulled it out from between her breasts. She took the rings he'd held in front of her, warm from the heat of her body.

She took them with one hand and took the chain off with the other. After untangling it all, they put their rings on.

They were going to wear both sets, moving forward.

She got on the balls of her feet and reached up to kiss him.

"Three years and counting. Doesn't feel like that long, does it?"

"Doesn't feel like enough."

She put her arms over his shoulders leaning on him. "Will it ever?"

"I doubt it, and I'm good with that."

"Well, old married man. Let's go be an old married couple in the world."

He gave her one of his bright smiles, green eyes shining. "Until the stars burn out."
