What the hell do you want?Helpless Tyler was shackled to the cement wall.

Honestly?Carmine chuckled menacingly.I want to decapitate you so fucking slowly with the most rigid blade I can find.

Tyler cackled.

You think I'm joking, you Goddamn prick?!

Emilio and Luca appeared around the edge of the building. I lifted my hand, signaling silence. They crept over, backs against the wall, awaiting my signal. I needed more information.

You want my honesty now? I don't fucking care!

You better care!Carmine roared.Because right now there's no one around to save you!

And what interest do you have in me?Tyler’s tone became suddenly amused.

I have no interest in you, mother fucker, but you've hurt someone I care deeply about!

And who would that be?Tyler snickered.I've hurt an endless amount of people.

Silence fell over the stone prison.

Oh, do you mean Lily?Tyler crowed. She's great in bed, but she's one of many little bitches to me.

Carmine cocked his gun. You’re going to die, sei un fottu—

“Carmine, stand down!” I bellowed, marching into the room. “Now!”

He held his position but did not pull the trigger. It was the least I could expect from him after eavesdropping. The malevolent daunting scowl I had seen so many times in the past, had returned. Regrettably for him, he went behind my back. A lesson would have to be learned.

Tyler threw his head back, roaring with laughter. “You better be glad the big boss man interrupted this.”

“I wouldn't be so sure.” I shook my head, placing my hand on Carmine’s gun, lowering it gently. “Tell me, Tyler.” I slid my hands in my pockets, slanting my head. “Why would Carmine sneak off to see you? You must've done something bad for him to go behind my back like this.”

“I haven’t done shit!” The chains clinked as he lunged forward, spitting on the floor next to my shoe. “I've been locked in this room!”

“I suggest you think hard to your past.” I took my suit jacket off, smoothing it. Strutting to the other side of the room, I hung it on a hook by the door. I spun around, facing him, unbuttoning my first shirt cuff, rolling it up to my elbow. “You see, I have a couple of guys in the warehouse who would love to take a turn with you.” I rolled up the second, smirking. “And you can use your imagine to guess what I mean by that.” Lifting my shoulders one at a time, I tilted my head, stretching my neck. I dug a pair of brass knuckles out of my pocket, slipping them on over my fingers. Fists tightened at my side, I narrowed my hostile glare on Tyler. “But I think I'll handle this myself.”

Carmine took a step to the side. I drew my fist back.

Tyler pursed his lips, spitting at Carmine. “You son of a bit—”

I jabbed my fist into his jaw, cracking his head against the wall behind him. His body fell limp for a moment as he blinked rapidly, trying to grasp what just happened. Blood dripped from his mouth, puddling on the floor. He stumbled to his feet.

“Unchain him.”

Emilio stepped up, unlocking one wrist, then the other. He marched to the side of the room, crossing his arms, leaning on the wall.

Tyler stumbled forward then caught his balance, still swaying. He displayed a bloody smile. “You can’t kill me. Lily will murd—”

I swung harder, knocking him backwards into the wall. Again I jabbed him, this time in the stomach. He spat inadvertently, struggling desperately to catch his breath. A final blow to the face sent him crumbling to the hard, cement floor. Lying in a pool of his own blood, he groaned in pain.

“Have someone come clean him up. We’re not done.” Spinning around on my heels, I marched outside into the bright morning light.

Luca handed me a small towel. I wiped my hands.

“I grabbed your jacket.” Emilio laid it across a barrel after seeing I was covered in splattered blood. He closed the door to Holding.

Carmine furrowed his brow, staring at me. Leo strode up disappearing inside to secure Tyler.
