I jumped up from my chair. Leo laid his hand on my arm. Twisting my head, I shot him a glare. Instantly, he withdrew his touch.

“Sir, you said to wait. We’re getting info.”

Mmmm remind me to never get on your bad side. Tricia’s voice summoned our attention.

After she and her friend are gone, Marco and I are killing his father—

Standing, I threw the chair back, grabbed my gun and sprinted out the front door.

“Boss!” Leo shouted. “Wait!”

Ignoring him, I raced down the pier to Marco’s bungalow. Not caring who may be watching. I kicked the door open, cocking my gun in the process. Tyler jumped back swiveling around as I pointed the pistol at him.

“Thank you, Tricia.”

Without another word, she ran out the door, sobbing.

“Of course, it's a set up.” Tyler threw his head back, laughing.

“You're so fucking dumb.” Taking a one stride toward him, I growled. “You never discuss detailed business with women, especially hookers.”

Rolling his eyes, he held his arms out to the side. “What are you going to do almighty, Don Giovanni?”

“What I should've done with Marco instead of letting him die.” Reaching behind my back, I slid my weapon into my waistband.

“Marco's dead?!” Tyler’s eyes sprung open wider.

Disregarding his question, I took three quick steps closer, clenching my jaw. “But what you’re going to do first is contact Lily and break up with her.”

“Not a chance you fucking moron!” He jumped toward me.

Sliding my hands in my pockets, I smirked, enjoying watching him digging his grave.

“I don't take orders from you!” He lunged forward attempting to make me flinch. “You can kiss my ass!”

“Suit yourself.” Arching a brow, I lifted a hand to my chin, shrugging. “I guess I'll just have to fuck up your world then.”

“Handle this, Leo.” Grinding my teeth, I muttered. “Very painfully.”

Emir had finally been discharged from the hospital. He had been resting in one of our bedrooms and the doctor had come to give him, hopefully, a final evaluation so we could fly home to New York. Carmine would be escorting the girls there.

Doctor Calluke emerged from the bedroom. “Your son is safe to fly.”

I never corrected him on the relation. He never once questioned why our last names were different either. I guess some things were better left assumed.

“I wrote prescriptions for more pain medicine and an antibiotic. Keep the dressing and area around it clean and dry.”

Stretching my neck, I peeked around him into the bedroom where Emir was sitting up, sipping on a cup of tea Leo had made him.

“He needs to sleep propped up on pillows. I'm sending this aftercare list with him as well. It will help with any questions but feel free to call me.”

“Thank you.” I took the paper.

Leo saw him to the door, closing and locking it behind him. He then sauntered to his laptop, scheduling departure for both them and us. I got my phone, dialing Carmine

Boss.

Leo is making travel arrangements for you. Meet us at my house. We need to have a meeting when you arrive.
