A bar choked full of men, and one pretty girl who I have no claim over? It’s going to be my end. Kenna is gorgeous, all bright smiles and those delicious, thick curves of hers, and my brothers would kill for a chance with a woman like that. No offense to the sweetcheeks, girls who enjoy spending their spare time with bikers, but Kenna is something else.

She had me from the moment our eyes connected. Beautiful and fierce, brave whilst shaking with fear. I’ve never felt this attraction to anyone else, even when I know it's so wrong. She’s much younger, the image of purity and beauty, and she has a bright life ahead of her. How could I taint it? How could I dare touch someone as beautiful as her, just to spoil her existence with mine?

Wrath shrugs, then picks his phone up, shooting a couple of messages to the girls. Good. In half an hour, they’ll be here, ready to distract my brothers. If I laid claim to Kenna, they wouldn’t even look twice her way, but how can I do that?

She would hate me. Her ex is a hitman, but I’m not much better. My hands have been coated in blood for years now. That’s the life of the captain of a motorcycle club.

I take a walk around the hallway, trying to calm down. Get a drink. Take a breather. Then I glance back at her because she has such gravity it’s impossible to look at anything else.

Golden skin, bright eyes, wavy dark hair. She’s in a pair of tight pants that delineate every juicy curve of hers, but thank God she’s in a loose shirt. The sight of her tits might drive me mad. I would start more than one fight if anyone as much as glanced at her cleavage.

Kenna chuckles. I follow her gaze to two of my brothers, sitting across from her, joking with each other. Just to make her laugh.

That is the last I see before my vision goes red. The one thing coursing through my veins is lava, and I choke in pure, unbridled rage. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever felt. I feel young again, young and irresponsible, and fucking angry.

I shoot to my feet. My brothers pause and glance at me. My height comes to good use now, and I part the group as I make my way to the table, then slam a hand down. Both men sitting there jerk away, wincing at the prospect of getting a beating. Half of them have felt the weight of my fist, and the memory still stings.

I used to be a more aggressive man, and they don’t want to see the old Blaise back.

Closing my fingers around Kenna’s arm, I drag her to her feet, then down the corridor. My pace is too sharp for her, and she stumbles twice before I stop, bend, and pick her up over my shoulder. She gasps but lets me carry her out of the bar, then into the bedroom. I kick the door closed behind me, then once again drop her on the mattress.

She sits up, glaring at me. This is my bedroom, but her scent soaks into every inch of every surface. My pants tighten, and it only makes me even angrier.

“What was that?” she demands, shooting to her feet, fearlessly.

“You are here to be protected, not to flirt with them,” I growl, my voice booming, echoing up the walls.

Her brows shoot up. She looks taken aback. This is it. That’s who I am, and the moment she realizes who I am, the moment she understands what I’m feeling... She’ll laugh it off, tell me she has no interest, and I will have no choice but to stop obsessing over her.

“I wasn’t flirting,” she says, her voice steady as she props her hands to her hips. Fucking gorgeous. “We were just chatting, and they were funny. God knows I need funny in my life.”

“Oh, please. They were all over you. They’ve been all over you since you got here.”

“That’s not true. No one’s all over me. They’re just being nice.” She looks away, tucking her hair behind her ears. I love it when she does this, and she does it often. What the hell is happening to me? “Honestly, Blaise. No one’s ever really flirted with me.” And her cheeks tinge pink. It’s so freaking alluring, and my mind goes straight to the gutter. “Even Todd, my ex. We got together because we hang out in the same group of friends, and we were the only single ones. I wouldn’t even recognize someone flirting with me.”

Shit, I’ve hated Todd for dating her, and I hated him for threatening her, but now I hate that motherfucker even more. How dare he make her feel like this? He should have kissed the ground she walked on, and made her feel like the most precious woman on earth.

“You can’t be serious,” I say, my shoulders tightening with the sheer effort I make to keep my hands off her. “You’re stunning. Men must hit on you all the time and you don’t notice it.”

She chuckles, but her cheeks redden further. “Maybe in a parallel universe where I was skinny. Not in this one, though. In this one, people say I’m lucky to have found someone.”

“Fuck, no.” I step closer to her. Closer than I should. Her scent washes over me, pushing into my nostrils, and soaking into my lungs. The bedroom is tiny, but there’s enough space for Kenna to step away. She doesn’t, tilting her head to keep her gaze locked with mine. “He was lucky. He was the luckiest man in the world.” My hand moves on its own, and my fingers trace her jaw to pinch her chin. She shivers beneath my touch, but her eyes burn with feeling. “You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. And whoever tells you the opposite will get their asses handed to them.”

Her lips curl into a soft smile, and I can’t take her beauty anymore. I bend and capture her lips with mine. She gasps in surprise, but her hands come up to my arms. Fuck, she’s tiny. Even with those full curves, she’s still so tiny next to me. I grip her hips and haul her up over the dresser. She parts her knees so I can fit between them, her arms flinging around my shoulders.

I lick along the seam of her lips until she parts them for me. She tastes as good as I dreamed of, sweet and addictive, and I stroke her tongue with mine until tiny whimpers leave her. The sound shoots straight to my cock, and it’s so hard now I’m sure it’ll burst through the zipper of my jeans.

Though I keep my hands firmly around her hips, her palms hover up my shoulders and down my arms. She explores my chest and my hair, her fingers leaving trails of fire along my skin as we kiss. Our size difference is absurd, and I want to fold my arms around her and keep her against me forever.

She breaks the kiss, gasping for air. Her eyes shine when she looks at me, a beautiful smile on her face. Fuck, I made her smile.

“This felt so good,” she murmurs, drawing circles on my pecs with her fingertip. “Don’t laugh at me, but best kiss ever.”

“Why would I laugh at that?” I cradle her face in my hand, adoring how she fits against me. “Fuck me, Kenna. I don’t think I can live without this mouth of yours.”

She smiles brighter. “That could be the price for the deal. You could ask me to kiss you every day, and I would.”

That makes me pause. How are we going back to the club tonight? Even if I kissed her, it means nothing if I don’t claim her. The others share sweetcheeks all the time. They could hit on Kenna as much as they want, and I couldn’t complain. Those are the rules.
