“And what would happen if I did?”

“Let's see.”

“Or not. You have venom in those fangs.” His nose flared as he sniffed the air and then shook his head. Those charcoal waves, swayed around his face. “Your venom smells potent, but I doubt it will kill me.”

He was right.

I rolled my eyes, anyway.

My venom only put incubi demons to sleep, and that was only the first step of capturing them.

Next, I tied them with sage rope binding their limbs while they slept. The rope prevented them from using their magic when they woke up.

The whole time, I had to work fast. The venom had them in slumber for barely fifteen minutes.

So I had to tie them up fast and call Adae to get them. Then, he would have his sorcerer assistants materialize near me, grab the demon, and take them to a caged cell.

I never knew what Adae did to the demons. Some guessed that he experimented on them. Others whispered that he took their power somehow. And many figured he sold them off to other magical users.

Azar formed his lips into a sexy grin. “I’ve never met a fairy that smelled or tasted like you. And the fangs. . .so unique.”

He rested his hand on my right breast, caressed it, and then stimulated my nipple with a skilled precision.

An aching started where he touched and then dove into my core.

His eyes glowed red and then returned to brown. “You like it when I touch you.”

I stifled a moan and avoided his eyes. “I don't.”

“You do.”

“In the end, it doesn't matter. It's all just magic.”

He chuckled. “Still, there's other things that I would love to show you.”

“What are you going to do with me?” I asked as he moved his finger away from my nipple.

“I don’t know. What do you want me to do with you?”

“Give me a kiss.” I smiled, exposing my pearly fangs.

He chuckled again and gazed at my breasts. “God and Satan both know how much I would love to kiss you and do so much more.”

“So then, what will you do?” I raised one eyebrow.

“I heard you only hunted low level incubi,” he said, ignoring my question. “Why go after me? I’m out of your league.”

I opened my mouth to answer him and paused.

It was none of his business. He didn’t need to know why I was so desperate.

I tried to pull away from him.

He kept me in place. “How big is your debt to Adae?”

I sucked my teeth. “Are we friends now?”

“We could be.”
