“I’m not eating anything from this garden.”
“You will.”
“No more spells or mojo bags.”
Her laughter rushed back to me.
Chapter 20
Daniel
Two days later
T
wilight and shadows danced along my cabin’s walls.
Faith and I were entangled, naked limbs. A natural rhythm of warm sex and soft moans. Slipping and sliding. Communicating with our bodies. Getting the words out through the sex because we couldn’t speak aloud. Our bodies formed together. We were made for each other. Made for this moment and others like this.
Life had delivered a package of insanity at our doorsteps, and somehow, we’d survived.
Addie Mae had made soup and tea, odd-smelling cakes, and that pie that moved on its own.
Faith and I refused it all.
We were sure she was trying to make us forget everything.
I didn’t want to forget a damn thing because with all the horror and fantastical moments, Faith and I had renewed our love. Nothing could take that away from us. Not snowmen or a dark past. Not shitty ex-husbands or a soon-to-be mother-in-law separated by hundreds of heads. I didn’t give one damn what Faith and Addie Mae would be bringing into my life.
I was ready for it all.
I had her back.
I had her love.
I had her in my arms.
On my bed.
Moaning under me.
Wet and warm at the center.
She was all mine. The moans. The shudders. The begging me for more. I had her all to myself and I would never let her go. We were linked, not just by tea, but our souls.
With all the craziness of the year, thisnew yearnothing would stop this.
For thisnew year, my focus would remain on our happiness, and the love that we would build around our children.
Faith wrapped her arms around me. “I love you so much, Daniel.”
I slid my cock inside of her slowly, so fucking ready to come all over her. “Good.”
“Good?” She hit my back.
I paused and remained deep inside of her.
She’d already came twice.
