“What do you mean? You’re the president,” I reply.

“Nah man, he sent your woman a picture of you with that Kam girl back in Bathurst.” I look at Gunner in surprise, man he’s got balls. Luckily, I already told Jennifer about that night, but again, she said what happens on the road she doesn’t need to know. Except now, it’s in her face. So, I’m ready for a bitch slap when I get home.

“I say kill him; he just betrayed the club,” I voice, my teeth grinding. Plus, it’d be nice not having a pansy-ass bitch crying all the damn time around here.

“Agreed. Boys, take him to the shed.”

I walk out of the clubhouse and try to call Jennifer but she doesn’t answer. Shit, I’m in the doghouse. Suddenly, a car is honking at the gates and I see a woman with dark hair and a kid in the backseat. I go to the gates and open them up when I realize there is no prospect out here.

“Can I help you, ma’am?” I ask her once she rolls the window down.

“Yeah, you can tell me where my shitty-ass husband is so I can give him divorce papers,” she snaps out at me. Damn, she’s in a mood.

“Gonna need to know who that is, babe.”

“Jason Decker,” she says, and shit, if my stomach doesn’t drop a little bit.

“Ezra? What are you doing here?” Decker asks, stepping outside, probably to see what was taking me so long.

“Here.” She tosses an envelope at him and speeds off back out of the gates and down the road. Once she’s out of sight, Decker opens the envelope and then drops to his knees.

“She’s asking for a divorce,” he rasps out.

“Man, that was your wife?” I whistle, bitch was hot for a bigger chick. “Why’d you keep her a secret?”

“Because she’s Hangman’s long-lost sister.”

Well, fuck.

“Let’s just forget this for a moment, we have a traitor to dispose of,” I tell him. We can worry about Hangman finding out he has a sister later. I’m sure that will go over well.

“You’re right. I need to take my revenge, that fucker cost me my woman. Now I’m going to end his life.”

“That’s the spirit,” I joke and Decker looks at me like I’ve lost the plot, so I just shrug.

We need to end Gunner’s life and then get onto ours. I have a feeling we’re all in deep shit now.
