“I’ve yet to see that… But why don’t I invite Cherry and Axel over, too? Maybe Viper and Rosita will swing by.”
Vanna’s expression brightens, as if the suggestion pleases her. “Yeah, okay. That sounds like fun.”
“Aces. I’ll text Viking last so the others have a fair shot at a head start.” I say, typing out a group text to invite them over. I’m happy Vanna is on board with having my MC family over. Family doesn’t have to be blood. They’ve proven this to me a thousand times over.
When they confirm they’re all headed here, I bring up Viking’s number and type out a text : You want to come by? The kids, Viper and Rosita are on their way.
Viking: Did something happen?
Me: No. Vanna baked a bunch of shit and there’s too much left over. She doesn’t want to throw it away.
Viking: Bro, you had me at ‘Vanna baked’.
I tuck my cell back into my pocket and smile at her. “Problem solved.”
