“Bull Durham,” Joe says, exhaling loudly as he looks at the ceiling. “The name of the movie is Bull Durham.”
“Yes, thank you, Joe. Bull Durham.” I blow Seb a kiss. “See you after the game. It’s up to you how long that is.”
“This is going to be the shortest fucking game of my life,” Seb says, pointing at me. “I want you to be the first person I see when I come off the field.”
“The very first. I promise.” I give him another smile before I spin around again.
“Less spinning, please,” he yells as I continue down the hall.
“Y’all give me a headache.” Joe snarls from behind me. “Are you good now? Can we concentrate on the game?”
“I’m all good,” Seb says. “Let’s get on the field already. I’ve got a game to win.”
