“Oh for God’s sake, who stays in the hospital more than a day anymore? Get my doctor in here right now, I want out,” Jada demanded.

“She’s a feisty one.”

“And who the fuck are all of these studs? Did you call up Abercrombie and Fitch and say you needed some models to cheer me up?” Jada glared at Gideon.

One of the models laughed.

“You.” She pointed at Laughing Boy. “Name, please.”

“Do you want my rank too?” he asked.

“Jesus, would you start with a name, and tell me why in the hell you think it is okay to be in my hospital room when I’m basically wearing tissue paper?” She pulled her blanket higher over her boobs.

“My name is Lincoln Hart, Petty Officer First Class, United States Navy.”

Jada squinted at him. Lincoln was wearing a white tee. With muscles covering muscles, he looked like daddy Hemsworth had another kid that ended up a SEAL. She turned her head and regretted it.

Fuck, I hurt.

“I saw that wince. You have a serious concussion. They want to keep you for at least three days,” Gideon said patiently.

Jada ignored him and pointed at another man, who scowled at her. “Name and rank.”

“I’m here under protest.” He crossed his powerful arms over his navy blue t-shirt. “The name’s Nolan.”

“I asked you—”

Another unknown hottie came and stood next to Gideon. “Am I hot too? I gotta tell you, after the shellacking I’ve been taking from my woman, I could really use a boost to my ego.” His green eyes twinkled down at her.

“You’re not hot, you’re SexySuavey, will that do?” Jada’s voice trailed off. That was about all she had in her. She knew she was on some kind of intravenous painkiller that was making her tired, but even with that, she still hurt.

“Okay, everyone out,” Gideon ordered. “We’ll ask our questions tomorrow.”

“Gideon.” She turned her head to look at him, not caring if it hurt. “Why’d you bring all these men?”

“I wanted to introduce you, Angel. One of them is going to be with me while I watch over you at all times until we capture whoever kidnapped you.”

“Director, named Miles Albright,” she slurred. “He’s stringing Psycho sis…”

Her eyes closed.

“Sleep, Angel. I’m here. You’re safe.”

She felt Gideon place a gentle kiss against her forehead. It was nice.

Gideon strodeout of the room. Everyone but Linc followed him. He was taking first watch. Ryker beat him to the elevator button by half a step and hit it.

“Did you get anything from the sheriff?” Ryker asked Gideon softly.

Gideon gave a small shake of his head. “Let’s wait til we get to the cafeteria.”

When the door opened there was an older couple who took two steps back when the three of them entered the elevator.

“Hiya,” Ryker smiled. “We’re visiting a friend. This seems like a really nice hospital.”
