“All…I want it all. Oh fuck, just give me…everything you’ve got,” she yelled as he pummeled her harder and drove her into the couch.
She dug her nails into the couch as she tried to keep herself from moving, but he pushed her farther with each thrust. Just like he had emotionally, he was now physically testing her limits.
“Look at me. I want to see your face when you come,” he ordered.
There was no mistaking the authoritative tone, and her eyes snapped open, locking with his. He was already fucking her with abandon and driving her toward the cliff of a mind-blowing orgasm, but the sight of his black hair shrouding his face with only a glimmer of his intoxicating eyes showing was the final straw.
The orgasm hit her body in a mad rush.
It slammed into her body and drove every ounce of air from her lungs. Nothing could’ve prepared her for it to hit like an explosion with such force that the scream she had on her tongue froze in her throat.
“That’s it. Come for me, Maeve,” Wolf said.
The words were foggy as he continued to thrust into her and force the orgasm to draw itself out. He thrust again, impossibly reigniting her core, only to force her body to come again.
“Fuck Maeve, yes,” Wolf growled, his voice deep and raspy as his pace became erratic. “Oh, fuck!” Wolf rammed into her hard, and this time her body arched off the couch while he held her still.
She’d never seen anything so sexy in her life. The sheen on his body glistened as he arched back. His mouth hung open, muscles flexing as he came. She could feel him filling her, and she once more found her release as his cock jerked inside her.
They were both panting hard, their breaths evenly matched as they stared at one another. It felt like they were silently saying all the things that words couldn’t come close to expressing. She moaned at the dull ache as he kept himself inside of her but pulled her legs down off his shoulders. Gentle hands moved her down the couch until he could lay on top of her with his forearms pressing into the cushion on either side of her head.
Maeve wrapped her legs around his waist and neck and held him tight, loving that he hadn’t pulled out or away but kept them connected. The heat from his body mixed with her own was almost too much. Nothing had ever made her feel more alive than in this moment with him.
“You better get some rest because I plan on laying like this only long enough until I’m hard, and then I’m fucking you all over again,” Wolf said.
He looked dangerous as his hair blocked out the little bit of light in the room like a curtain around her face, and yet she’d never felt safer.
“I told you, I want all you can give me.” She smirked as she flexed her walls that were still gripping his cock, and he groaned. “I want you.”
He smoothed the damp strands of her hair back from her face and kissed the tip of her nose.
“Gvgeyui.”
Knowing exactly what he said, she smiled wide. “I love you too.”
The sound of the sand underfoot was as loud as his panicked breathing in his ears as he followed Jimmy’s trail. He thought he knew what dark was until he came to this part of the world, but the wide-open desert with nothing for miles left you with a whole different feeling of alone. Other than the blanket of tiny stars, the only light was from the moon and a flashlight that he didn’t dare flick on any longer than a second to ensure he was still on Jimmy’s trail.
Duke bumped into his leg, his wet nose touching his hand. He was startled to the right and moved away from the sensation until he realized what had happened.
“Holy creation, Duke, you gave me a heart attack,” he whispered as he glared at his furry companion. “You finally decide that you want to help find your dad?”
Duke twisted his head as he listened to him talk but just sat on the ground. “We’re going to bring him back. Come on, let’s go.”
Duke whined as he proceeded to jog on, but he fell into position beside him rather than lagging behind. There was something comforting about having Duke by his side. His presence helped ease the eerie stillness.
The thick string of clouds that had been covering the moon moved enough to brighten the surrounding darkness. The brighter light showed off the coming hill, and Wolf’s heart lurched as the cool white beam bathed a shadow moving that was almost to the top. The way the person was moving, he knew exactly who it was and picked up the pace. It was dangerous to run in the desert when you didn’t know what was underfoot, but this was Jimmy, and he’d run headlong into a firing squad to save his friend.
Too many had died, too many lives sacrificed already, and he wasn’t going to allow his friend’s body to be added to the pile.
His feet dug into the soft sand of the large rise. He slipped and had to catch himself before he fell but managed to keep going. Duke remained at his side, and he stared down for a moment at the dog, wondering why he wasn’t going to Jimmy.
Jimmy had Duke since he was an eight-week-old pup, and the two were inseparable and even slept in the same bunk. It was normal to find the animal sound asleep on Jimmy’s chest, and no one dared go near Jimmy while he rested unless they didn’t mind having their arm ripped off.
“Hey!”
Wolf jerked at the sound of the loud yell to stare at Jimmy as he waved his arms. At first, he thought he’d finally come to his senses and was trying to wave him down. As more of the cloud moved, he could clearly see that Jimmy didn’t see him and probably didn’t know Wolf was there at all as he waved his arms again, facing the opposite direction.
“Over here, you fucking pricks!”
