“Other than you?” He moves towards me, his hands grabbing my hips hard as he pushes me back against the wall, surprising me. I can’t say that I hated it, no I felt like I went from existing to being set on fire all in the matter of a moment. His breath hits me, smelling of mint.
“I had a raging hard on all night, Salem. Do you feel this? What you do to me?” He grabs my hand and places it on his erection. I feel it twitch against my palm, begging for me to play with it.
“I’ve been going out of my mind, needing to feel you.” He places a soft kiss on my lips, that contrasts how hard his hands are holding onto me- hard enough to leave a bruise. “Need your lips on mine.” Those words are all it takes for me to wrap my hand in his shirt and yank his lips down on mine again, hard. He opens his lips. A smile plays at the corner of his mouth as I dive my tongue in to meet his. He rolls his hips against me, and I snake my fingers up into his hair. I can’t help the moan that leaves my mouth, as he finds just the right spot to piston his hips into.
“Lock the door.” I manage to say as he kisses his way down my neck. He doesn’t waste a moment, flying to the door, making sure it closes with a snick of the lock. He’s back on me in an instant, walking me back to my bed. It sinks with our combined weight, the coils groaning as he lays me back, his body flush against mine. God, I need this.
He rips off his shirt, and I immediately run my fingers down taking in all of his muscles. They seem to have a mind of their own with the way my fingers hungerly trace the divots of his defined six pack, taking time to follow the outline of his v. He shivers against my touch. “You’re killing me, baby.”
“How do you kill someone with no heart?” I say laughing against his mouth. I push down the little flip I felt in my heart at hearing Pierce call me ‘baby’.
“Cruel woman. You wound me.” He snatches one of my hands and places it on his chest. “Do you feel how hard it’s beating for you?” I stare up into his eyes and feel my breath hitch as a riot of butterflies churn low in my stomach. Oh, no. Not feelings.
CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHT
Pierce
Salem’s hand rests on my chest, my heart beating erratically from her touch. I had to take an extra long cold shower last night after she’d turned me away. I’d never been this worked up over someone before. Girls had always come easy, but Salem was making me work for it.
I dip my nose down and trace her slim neck with the tip, taking in her sweet vanilla scent. “Did you happen to notice it’s warmer in here?” I ask, nibbling her dainty ear. It’s almost pointed like an elf, making her look like myLord of the Rings, Liv Tyler fantasy come to life.
“That was you?” She shrieks, pushing me up so she can look straight at me. Her sage green eyes bounce back and forth as she roams my face.
“Guilty.” I smirk, peppering her body with kisses. I cup her full breasts and tweak her nipples. Goddamn, this girl was undoing me. She wasn’t even wearing a bra.
“I don’t know if I should find it sweet or creepy that you broke into my room.”
“Definitely sweet. I wouldn’t risk a felony for just anyone.” I bit her nipple through her shirt, making her arch into me.
“Spoken like a man who’s familiar with breaking the law.” If she only knew.
A loud knock comes from her door. “Nooo.” I groan into her cleavage. “I haven’t even started with you yet.”
“It’s Skye with my outfit for tonight.”
“For the party? Let’s skip it. We can stay here and keep doing this.” I peck her lips and roam my hands down her curves.
She bites her lip, looking guilty. “What?”
“Uh, I’m not going to the party.” I sit up off of her and grab my shirt. My erection strains against my sweatpants. I’m thankful I’m not wearing something tighter.
“Salem?” Skye’s muffled voice calls.
“Just a second.” Salem calls back, her fingers comb out her hair that I’d mussed up. “I’m going to Diablos tonight. Walker asked me to sing for the Battle of the Bands.”
Fucking, what? “Oh. I didn’t know you knew him.” I stand up yanking my shirt back on and push my fingers into my hair, as I pace the small room. I’m trying and failing to keep my cool.
She looks at me warily, “Yeah, I just met him.”
“You need to be careful around him Salem. The guys got anger issues.” She rolls her eyes at me, going to open the door for her friend. I grab her by the arm and turn her towards me. “I mean it Salem. I’m not being an alpha asshole right now. He’s been known to fly off the handle.”
She fixes me with a cool glare. “I can handle myself.”
“It’s not that-“
“Hey, are you guys going to open the door? I have to get ready too.”
“Sorry, Skye.” Salem shrugs out of my grip and opens the door. Skye’s holding a slim black dress and I want nothing more than to snatch it away, so she’ll have to go in what she’s wearing. But shit she still looks hot in whatever she wears.
