Xander chuckles at my back as Darian offers me his hand. “Come sit down.”
I sit in the wingback chair, my three men crowding around me with their drinks in their hands. “What’s going on?”
“It was fortuitous to run into Stiles and his family tonight of all nights. Don’t you think?” Darian glances to his left and to his right.
Xander nods his head. “Crazy fucking coincidence, but lucky too.”
Garrett purses his lips but says nothing.
“We have something we want to ask you, Carlisle. Something we’ve been talking about for some time.”
I suck in my breath, because this feels like a marriage proposal, but how can that be? Polygamy isn’t legal in New York. I’m not sure if it’s legal anywhere. “What’s going on?” I ask again, my heart beating hard in my chest, my stomach quivering with tentative excitement and post-orgasm fatigue.
Garrett drops to one knee first, quickly followed by Xander and Darian.
“Oh my God.” I gasp.
“We want you to marry us—” Darian starts.
“We want to marry you—” Xander says.
“We don’t want you to every question how committed we are to this relationship,” Garrett adds.
“Or to you,” Xander finishes.
“Of course, I’ll marry you, but I don’t need a ring to know you’re committed to me.”
“Yeah, but—” Garrett takes my hand. “—when we put a baby in you—”
“We don’t want any problems,” Darian finishes for him.
“And we are going to put a baby in you,” Xander grins.
“As soon as you’re ready,” Garrett nods.
I bite my lip, my heart on the verge of bursting. “You want me to have your baby?”
“Babies.”
“Oh my God,” I bury my face in my hands, tears spilling forth uncontrollably.
“Is that a yes?” Darian chuckles as he wraps his hands around my hips and pulls me off the chair into his lap. Garrett strokes my hair as Xander pulls my hands from my face.
“Yes, to all of it. Being your wife, having your babies, is a dream come true.” I place my hands on Xander’s cheeks and kiss him before turning to Darian, and then Garrett.
Xander reaches into his pocket. “We got you this.”
He flashes a gorgeous platinum ring with three solitaire emerald cut diamonds of equal size. “One diamond from each of us.”
Darian holds my left hand out, and Xander slides the ring in place. It’s gorgeous, unique, and so very much my men. Xander kisses my hand at the same time, Garrett kisses my shoulder, and Darian kisses my lips.
I feel infused with a fresh dose of love and acceptance.
Cherished beyond comprehension.
And safe in the arms of my fiancés.
