I take my chances and press my lips to hers. I taste her tears and swallow every one of them.

Every single lingering doubt ebbs to nothing as she kisses me back. She winds her arms around my neck, and I kiss her harder. There’s nothing on my mind but her. In this moment, she is everything. My fucking everything.

“I love you, and I need you, and I’m not letting you leave.”

Her chuckle has me smiling and there’s nothing behind it but pure fucking joy.

“I love you, too, but I think you already know that.”

“It’s always nice to hear, babe.”

I kiss her again and push her back toward the bed. She falls back on her ass, and I stand before her, her beauty no longer cloaked in pain. She is my angel.

“You should get out of those wet clothes. We wouldn’t want you getting sick.”

It becomes a race of who can get undressed first and when she’s completely naked for me, I lean over her and press my lips to hers before peeling off her gloves.

“Nothing between us,” I murmur.

“Nothing.”

There’s no fear shining in her eyes. She doesn’t tense. She’s fully in the moment with me. She pulls me closer to her, and I let her lead the way. I’m instantly hard.

“I need you,” she murmurs.

“I’m here. I’m yours.”

Rocking against her, her back arches and I slide my arm under her, keeping her close to me. Kissing her, she kisses me back, meeting my every need for her. Reaching down between us, I find her wet and ready and she gasps as I tease her entrance.

“I need you inside me.”

Keeping my eyes locked with hers, I slide into her and slam my mouth onto hers. I bury myself deep inside her and with every stroke, she truly becomes a part of me. I know where I’ve been and now, thanks to meeting Holly, I know where I’m going.

“You’re mine,” I tell her, slamming into her as I feel my balls tighten.

“I’m yours,” she cries out, her nails digging into my back.

“You’re not ever leaving me.”

“Never.”

I finish inside her and slowly rock until she’s trembling beneath me. I can’t bear to pull out from her just yet. I make sure my weight isn’t on top of her and smile.

“Now everything changes,” I tell her.

“I’m ready.”

Pulling out, I roll off of her and lie at her side, wrapping my leg over hers.

“How did you know I was here?”

“Harper called me.”

Her smile grows and I see the light shining in her eyes. She gains so much more than just me and Rayna, and I’m glad. She deserves all the happiness I can offer.

“I dropped Rayna off at your parents. I said I’d pick her up. They must’ve noticed something’s wrong by now?”

“I spoke to my mom. She’s taking Rayna to the club with them. She’s okay.”
