Zed:Howmuchdoyou have on this card, mate? The first girl just cost you £750 grand.

West: Enough, so keep going. Get them all out.

Zed: No worries, but we will probably have to buy two or three each; there are ten girls up tonight.

West: When it comes to Kara and Sutton, they can’t be bought together.

Zed: Yep, understood. Speak to you soon.

Two hours pass, and I’m going out of my fucking mind. What’s taking so long?

Zed: Nine down, one to go.

West: Which one?

No response.

Oh, come on, man. Give me something. I’m up a fucking tree waiting to blow someone’s fucking head off, and I just need to know if it’s safe to do so.

The longest twenty minutes of my life pass, and then the text comes.

Zed: We are coming out. Don’t freak. I’m going to have to get rough. They are watching me. I’ve just spent £3.5 million, so they want to be sure I’m real.

My blood boils at the thought of anyone laying a hand on her, but if it saves her life and he doesn’t hurt her, it’s the only way. I need her away from here before shit goes down.

Men start to fall out of the front doors whilst six men walk out the side door and pile into the three parked cars. It’s a tight squeeze to get the ten girls in as well, but it doesn’t matter. They are all in and away. I finally breathe, but I put my eyes back on my sights and look for Ralph. I hear a noise in the distance.

“Shit. The fucking cops.”

I need to get Ralph or at least Stella before they escape. I scramble down from the tree, rifle on my back. I make my way to the side door they just came out of. I turn to see Zed and two others right behind me. From now on, it’s hand signals only. Before long, we are in.

Zed goes off in the direction where he last saw Stella. The other two guys take the door to make sure no one leaves whilst I make my way upstairs to a balcony that looks out into the big room. No one notices me as I look around for Ralph. I hear a gun cock at my ear.

Big fucking mistake. Only a second or two passes, and the idiot is dead. Shot with his own gun. Would you believe it? I’ve still got it. Then, with adrenaline running wildly through me, I spot Ralph. He is upstairs and only a few feet away. He has a woman by the throat and, at first, I think it’s just some kinky shit, but then I realise she’s nearly dead.

I point my rifle, and I blow a hole right through the bastard’s shoulder. He drops the girl and screams like a bitch. Shit, I need to shut the fucker up and get him out of here. So, I approach, aim the rifle at his head, and tell him as much. The shock on his face is pleasing, but I still have a job to do. I pull him to his feet and go back the way I came. He cooperates, which surprises me a little. His reputation said something different about this guy.

Once we’re outside, I drag him around the front of the building to where the whole fucking police force and SWAT team are waiting. Zed was already out, and Stella? Well, she was kicking off like a proper bitch.

“You are a fucking pussy, Ralph. This is all your fucking fault. You better keep your mouth shut. Do you hear me? Or I’ll fucking kill you!” she screams hysterically.

So much is not making sense right now. I look over at Ralph, and he looks like he’s about to piss his pants. He’s fucking scared ofher.

Chapter 44

Sutton

Wrappedinablackrobe, but completely naked underneath, I’m hustled and bustled into the back seat of a car. In the car were two other girls from the room, but not Kara. The door slammed shut and there was a loud bang on the roof.

The man who paid millions for me banged on the roof and yelled, “Drive!”

The car sped off, gravel flying from underneath the wheels. I look to the other girls who are sobbing and shaking. I needed to find my inner strength if I was going to survive and get out of this alive and find Kara. Only a few minutes later, the car pulled to a stop. I look out the window, and we are in a dark forest. No lights, no houses. Nothing but trees.

Heart hammering, I decided to speak up, “Erm... Where are we?”

The reply was not what I was expecting. The passenger turned to face me and smiled.

“Safe is where you are, Sutton. You’re safe. Now, calm down your friends whilst we wait for further instructions.”
