“No, it’s okay,” he said. “It was only for a moment.”
“Good,” she grinned.
The ladder went down a good ten meters, if not more, before coming to a stop. The last rung on the ladder was a foot off the ground. He stepped off it easily enough, but Selene had to jump down.
Thankfully, the place was empty, and from the layers of dust covering every inch of the place, it had been empty for quite some time.
There were two doorways at the bottom of the ladders. One was a small storage room with empty shelves that lined the walls. The other led to a main living area with a door at the far end.
The main living area wasn’t massive, but it was big enough to accommodate a sofa, a table with four chairs, a small work surface with a sink and cupboard underneath, and a small wood burning stove. The stove was in the corner closest to the sofa, no doubt to keep warm in the freezing cold bunker.
There were several shelves on either side of the rectangular shaped room with candles on top. As far as he could see, unless magic was involved, the candles and wood burner was the only way to light the place.
Selene clicked her fingers behind him, and the candles burst into flame.
“That’s better,” she grinned when he looked over his shoulder at her.
“What’s through there?” he asked, pointing to the room at the back.
The light from the candles didn’t reach into that room, and her little orbs of light were still floating around the main living area.
“Just a bunk room.” When he frowned, she added. “You know, filled with bunk beds?”
Arun didn’t have a clue what she was talking about. He knew what a bed was, but he’d never heard of a bunk bed.
Selene sighed. “Just go and have a look. You’ll see what I mean.”
She twisted a wrist, sending one of the orbs into the room ahead of him.
“You know, I can see in the dark,” he reminded her.
“I know,” she grinned. “But this way you don’t have to strain those old eyes of yours.”
Arun raised an eyebrow. “Old eyes?”
“Well, you are an old man,” she laughed.
“Keep it up and I’ll show you just what this ‘old man’ can do.”
He grinned when her eyes shot straight to his cock. When she looked back up at him, he could see desire swimming in her eyes, along with nice rosy cheeks from getting caught looking. He hadn’t been referring to sex, but he certainly wouldn’t turn her down.
He’d never had sex with a Human before. They had never interested him. But Selene? Hell, yes! He’d happily spend the night buried between her legs. And the morning, afternoon, and evening. In fact, he hadn’t stopped thinking about doing just that since the moment he first set eyes on her.
The problem was, he didn’t think once or twice would be enough. She already had him tied up in knots. It would be a thousand times worse if he gave into desire and claimed her body.

Selene tried to mask the desire in her eyes, but it was still there for him to see. She ducked her head as she turned and walked towards the sofa.
Arun gave her a moment to herself while he checked out the sleeping area. As soon as he stepped inside, he understood what Selene had meant by bunk beds.
Running along the wall on either side of the room were row upon row of beds. They were stacked two high and slept only one person. Except for the last two beds. They were still stacked two high, but they were wider than the rest, for two or three people sleep on each. All in all, there was enough space for at least twenty people.
Arun couldn’t imagine what it would be like to have all the beds taken in one go. He knew the Humans didn’t have it easy, but to live in such cramped conditions must be hell. He certainly couldn’t do it. There was only him and Selene in there and that was more than enough for him.
While he’d been checking out the sleeping area, Selene had been busy getting a fire started. When he walked into the main living area, she was sitting with her legs crossed on the floor and her hands held out towards the fire.
“You know, you’re supposed to close the door once it’s lit,” he said.
