Dain shifted back into himself when they were outside the building. "She's in there."

Looking up at the building, Taredd asked: "Do you know how many people are in there with her?"

"I can't say for sure without going in there and taking a closer look," Dain told him. "But there were two different scents in the room with her, so it's more than likely that at least two people took her from your room."

"We can't go in there without knowing what we'll be walking into," Taredd said. "For all we know, it could put her in even greater danger than she already is."

"True," Dain agreed.

"I need to do something though, anything could be happening to her."

"I know," Dain told him.

They were both silent for a moment, trying to think of the best course of action.

Dain was the one to break the silence, when he said: "Wait out of sight of the building, I'll go in and check the place out, see what we're up against. It's not a massive building, so it shouldn't take me long."

"Okay," he said, forcing himself to back away. "But, hurry up."

"I will," Dain said right before he shifted into a mouse.

Once Dain had vanished into the building, Taredd moved closer again. He couldn't just stand around doing nothing. He didn't lie to Dain when he said he couldn't go in there until he knew what he was up against, but there was nothing to stop him from looking through the windows and seeing for himself.

As long as he was careful and stayed out of sight, Taredd should be able to sneak around the outside unnoticed. Peeking through the windows turned out to be a complete waste of time though, he couldn't see a damn thing through the dirt and muck covering them.

Fuck! This was not how he had envisioned today going, not one bit.

Moving back away from the building, he had no other choice but to wait for Dain to come back with some usable intel. Even without knowing what he was up against, Taredd knew without a doubt it would be a hell of a lot easier if Arun was here as well.

If it wasn't for this fucking stupid bet, then he would have been, but then he might not have got so close to Natalia either. He would have just killed her straight away and wouldn't have gotten to know the strong, sassy, and sexy female that she was.

He wouldn't have had the honour of pleasuring her body either, which would be a crying shame in its self. She had been so responsive to his every touch, even going so far as to beg for more. And he wanted to give her more. He already craved the taste of her... he craved all of her.

Taredd swore when she was safely back with him, he was never again going to leave her side.
