“Sara. if you need anything while you're here, just let me know.” He says, handing me a business card.
I put the card in my bag.
“See you later Kyle,” Alex says as Kyle walks away outside the hotel.
“So the whole Katie thing.”
“Yeah,” I sigh.
“I think you may have been given the wrong information. I have a friend in the accounts department and yeah Adrien MIGHT have got her the job but as far as I know she didn’t sleep with him after she got the job. Whoever said she was, was telling you gossip. Not facts.”
I let that sink in while Alex types away on his phone.
