“Oh, I think you did,” he said. “First, he told me about the night of the storm. What did you really think you were going to do? Were you going to carry me back to the resort?”

“If I needed to,” I said haughtily. “That was not nice of him to tell you that.”

“If you think that’s bad, Norah told him about something that happened at the bachelorette party,” he said.

“I told you we went skinny-dipping.”

He slowly shook his head. “My little prize fighter was apparently out there defending my reputation.”

I frowned. “What are you talking about?”

“You know exactly what I’m talking about,” he said. “Did you really shut those ladies down?”

I shrugged. “I corrected their assumptions.”

“You’re amazing,” he said. “I feel like I’ve got a cheerleading and security team in one gorgeous package.”

“Boy, you are so getting laid tonight,” I whispered.

His eyes flashed with heat. “I know.”

“Cocky.”

“You have no idea,” he said. “I’m just glad there are tablecloths on these tables. No one can see what’s happening under the table.”

“Oh really,” I teased. I slipped my hand under the table and rested it on his thigh.

“You’re playing with fire,” he warned.

“Let’s burn the place down,” I said, thinking of Norah’s words.

I slid my hand up higher and rubbed over his cock. His knee jumped and he dropped his fork. “Claire,” he growled my name.

I rubbed over the erection and reached down between his thighs to rub over the base. He spread his legs wider. I rubbed harder. “I can feel your power,” I whispered.

“You’re going to feel a lot more if you don’t stop,” he said through clenched teeth.

Norah cleared her throat. I jerked my hand away from him and put it back on the table. I looked at her.

“You’re dirty,” she hissed.

I couldn’t help but giggle. “Says the woman who got her man off at a Michelin-star restaurant.”

“I was a lot more discreet.”

“I was there,” I reminded her.

“I didn’t get him off at the table,” she whispered. “I at least took him to the bathroom.”

“Fine, I’ll be right back,” I said.

She grabbed my shoulder. “Don’t you dare.”

I laughed and looked over at Ryan who was still clenching his jaw tight. “Sorry, babe, I can’t finish what I started until after they cut the cake.”

“This is not funny,” he said.

“What’s wrong, Ryan?” Tony asked.
