I almost laughed at how inconvenienced he sounded, but I refrained.

I brushed my fingertips over his hand, and he stiffened. “And you’re okay if I love Zeke too?”

“Too?”

“Answer the question, Cyn,” I said, not willing to admit the words until I knew where his head was at. This couldn’t work if he didn’t accept that I loved Zeke and wanted to be with him too.

He couldn’t have us both and expect Zeke and me not to have each other too.

“Of course I’m okay with it.” He scoffed. “I mean, fuck, just thinking about—”

“Stop!” Zeke shook his head, trying not to laugh.

Cyn thought way too much with his cock for his own good.

“Fine. Yes, I’m okay with it. I know you love him and that he loves you. I already told you that.”

Zeke’s brows rose. “When?”

I glanced at him. “When we were in Feranzis and he gave me my necklace back. He recognized it and said he was okay.”

“Oh.”

“Yeah,” Cyn said, sitting up. “I’m not in this if I can’t have you both, but it goes the other way too.”

I nodded, chewing the corner of my lower lip.

“Now tell me what you meant by ‘too’ before I lose my shit.”

Huffing a soft laugh, I muttered, “You’re so impatient.”

“That’s what you do to me.” He pushed his fingers through his hair again, making it stand up at odd angles. “You drive me fucking crazy.”

“Fine. I love you. Happy?”

“Elated. Now come here.”

I squealed when he tugged me toward him, forcing me to straddle his lap.

“I’m not waiting.” He kissed my jaw. “Please don’t make us wait anymore.”

“What do you mean?” I tilted my head back, closing my eyes as his lips trailed down my neck.

“Let us complete our tether,” he whispered against my skin. “Both of us. Together.”

I moaned, both over his words and his open-mouthed kisses on my neck.

Warmth pressed against my back as Zeke moved my hair aside and kissed the side of my neck, tilting my head back to let Cyn move across the front of my throat with his lips and tongue.

The feel of the metal on his tongue made delicious shivers pass through me.

“Say yes, Rae,” Zeke whispered into my hair.

“Yes,” I breathed.
