“Fucking gorgeous.”

Did I really just come against his wall? On his hand? With all our clothes still on?

He hooked a finger under my chin, tilting my face up. “Did that feel good?”

I nodded because I was still too overwhelmed to speak.

“You’re so beautiful when you come for me.”

I blushed.

“That’s right, my little siren. Was that enough or do you want something more?”

Enough? It barely scratched the surface. But he needed to hear me say that. “I want you, Everett. I want what we had at the cottage.”

His chest rumbled with a deep, vibrating sound of approval. “These shorts have to go.” He pulled the flimsy cloth down my legs along with my panties. “Give me your sweater.” It barely qualified as a sweater. It was more like a slightly thick long-sleeved shirt. I whipped it over my head. “Fuck, you’re perfect.” He took my bare breasts in his hands, lightly teasing my nipples.

I wove my fingers through his hair, arching up for more. “Yes…” I hissed.

“I missed this. You taste like heaven.”

“You feel so good.” The man had heavenly lips. His tongue was magic. I didn’t even know what he did with it half the time, only that it made me feel good. And then there was the beard. It wasn’t as scratchy as I expected. It tickled in a good way.

“We need a bed,” he murmured, lifting me into his arms.

Yes, yes we did.

He laid me out, then stripped himself bare and I got the opportunity to study his sculpted body again. It was gorgeous, and while I very much appreciated how much work he put into it, it paled in comparison to the way his eyes burned for me.

Now that was sexy.

So was the way he palmed himself and stroked.

“Still want me?” he growled.

Needy, pushed to his limits, aroused Everett might be my favorite version. “Very, very much.”

He studied me again, checking to be sure I meant what I said, then nodded. He went into his bathroom and came back with a box of condoms. “This time,” he said as he pulled one out and ripped it open, “we use as many as we want.” And then he winked.

I almost came all over again. When some men winked it was awkward or cringey. Some men winked too often. Everett’s wink was perfect. Mischievous, sexy, and rare.

His bed sat against a wall, looking at bookshelves covered with books, a television, and sliding glass doors that led out to the pool. In one corner he had a small workout area with a few unpacked boxes. There was also a dresser with a mirror. On one side of the room was the door that led outside to his driveway. Opposite it sat another door that led into the shared living space.

But none of that mattered anymore when Everett kneed onto the bed and flopped back against the headboard. “Get over here, gorgeous.”

At the cottage Everett had left me wanting more. He was a smart man because all I’d thought about for weeks was about all the things I still didn’t know. Was Everett the kind of guy who liked to spend all his time with his face between my legs? He certainly knew how to use his hands. Did he like to be in charge or was he more of a give and take kind of man?

As I crawled over his lap, his erection hard and bobbing between us, I got the impression that more than anything, Everett simply liked to have fun in bed. Which really shouldn’t have surprised me.

He cupped my breasts with a deep sigh of satisfaction. “You are a tiny little siren but damn are you perfect.” With each brush of my nipples I ground my hips against his erection, using his length as my own personal plaything. “You just came and here you are, already begging for more.” His eyes flashed as he grinned, full of mischief.

“You’ve been reading up on things to say to me, haven’t you?”

“Naw,” he shook his head. “I’ve just been reading. Lots of sexy books to keep me in the right frame of mind.”

“Didn’t it make you crazy?” My vibrator lived on its charger these days. It was going to burn out soon.

He winked again. Two in one night! “It gave me somewhere to focus. Besides, I picture you as every heroine, no matter what the story is about.” He took my nipples between his thumb and index fingers, pinching lightly. “Have you been touching yourself, thinking of me?”
