Marcus:

I will when I’m ready.

Okay, okay. I don’t love that answer, but I did tell him to let me know if he needed space and it sounds like he does.

Me:

Just remember, I’m here for you if you need me.

December 27th

Me:

Are you back in Chicago now?

Marcus:

Yeah

Me:

How was the rest of it? You never really told me what happened.

Marcus:

Nothing new. Same as always.

I guess he’s still not ready to talk about it, but at least he is texting me.

Me:

What are you doing for New Years?

Marcus:

Not sure, you?

Me:

Might hang with friends. I wish I was spending it with you instead.
