You want to get blocked?

JJ

Preferably not.

Justine

Smart. Now, how may I help you?

JJ

Caleb and I kissed, and his hands were down my pants and I’m freaking all the way out.

Not even two seconds go by when my phone rings. I answer after the second ring with a “Hello?”

“Tell me everything!” She screeches so loud that I have to pull the phone away from my ear.

I bite my lip, considering whether I should tell her the full truth. She’s my sister. But I agreed with Caleb to not tell anyone.

Eh, sisters don’t count.

“You know the book I have to write? I had major writer’s block and realized I needed to conduct research. But the internet and books were not enough. Therefore, I inserted myself in the name of research.”

“In the name of research?”

“Yes. And Caleb was having public image problems, so he wants to show sponsors that he is serious about his position and that he fits the image they want to represent their company. They don’t want bad publicity, so dating him makes him appear stable and get rid of any bad rumors.”

She giggles. “This is the dumbest best idea ever. Dumb because you two are in love with each other. Best because you two are in love with each other and will finally realize it.”

I scoff. “We do not feel that way about each other. We’ve been friends for this long without anything happening. Why? Because we respect and care for each other in a platonic way.”

“Keep telling yourself that. But you are going to be having sex with a football player who’s worth over 15 million a year. You’re going to be taking his 15-million-dollar dick.”

I forgot just how rich he is. He lives mostly modestly. I forgot that he has more money than I’ll ever see in a lifetime.

“If you want a football player so badly, Trevor is single. His dick is probably worth more.”

“I would rather gouge my eyes out and feed it to the New York rats,” she states. I got to figure out her beef with this man. One summer, they were the closest of friends, but by the end of it, she wouldn’t even speak his name.

I roll my eyes. “A simple ‘no’ would suffice.”

“But you wouldn't fully comprehend my disdain. Now you do.”

I press my lips together. “Loud and clear.”

Hearing the shower turn off, I cut her off. “Got to go. He’s out of the shower.”

“Wait! Have you seen his di—”

I click off and drink some more of the bitter liquor. Dinner with my parents and Caleb. It will be fine.

Right?

Caleb

How am I supposed to hold a conversation with her parents when all I can think about is how sweet my best friend’s pussy is?
