She bit the tip of my thumb gently. Kissed the pad of it. I couldn’t take my eyes off her mouth. “Let’s do it,” she whispered, sliding down from her tiptoes. She tugged on my belt, and then my hand. “Come on, Will. Wife me up. I’ll literally never say this again. It’s your one chance to make an honest woman out of me.”
“Iz,” I groaned, but my lopsided smile still overpowered my face. She had no idea how much I loved hearing her say this, even if she was a little drunk and didn’t mean it. I let her tug me along, soaking it in just for a second, imagining what it would feel like to give in and do something stupid. Keep her forever.
I pulled her to me. Tucked a sweaty curl behind her ear. Searched her eyes.
“Marry me,” she said quietly, looking into mine.
I hit the UP arrow for the elevator. Took a breath. “I don’t want you to regret me, Iz.”
She frowned and hit the DOWN arrow like we were going to have some kind of directional argument about getting married at 3AM.
“No one regrets winning the lottery,” she said. The UP light dinged.
I grinned. I loved her like this. “They literally do. It basically ruins lives.”
She bit her lip, eyes not leaving mine while she backed into the waiting elevator.
“You going to ruin me, Will?”
“I’m about to, yeah.”
I followed her like I would follow her anywhere. Some dude on his phone tried to get on the same carriage behind us, but he paused in the threshold, eyes flicking to Louisa’s hands on my belt.
“Get the next one, my guy,” I said, not taking my eyes off her.
As the doors closed, she dropped to her knees and I warred with myself. I wanted her close enough to kiss, but I hadn’t had her mouth on me yet and I wanted that, too. All the things we hadn’t tried together felt like a weight on my chest or something to look forward to.
She had my belt undone and my jeans halfway down my ass before I even remembered to hit the emergency stop. The elevator ground to a halt and she glanced up briefly, one hand braced on my thigh, the other tugging on the waistband of my boxers. When she licked her bottom lip and her hot breath hit my cock everything else just ceased to exist.
She gazed up at me from beneath lowered lashes. “Marry me before I change my mind, Will.”
I pushed her hair away from her pretty face and into a ponytail wrapped around my fist, just as she wrapped her hands around my dick.
“Louisa, when I marry you—and I will someday—You’re going to be 100% sober and begging me on your knees just like this, baby.”
“That right?”
“Mmhmm.”
“Promise?”
“I do.”
She flattened her tongue and slid it root to tip. Like she was licking an ice cream cone. When she put her whole mouth on me it felt like the film score kicking in at exactly the right moment.
“I want you to fuck me like this,” she said with a wry smile. “Do me like one of your French girls.”
A breathy laugh escaped my throat. I was half-gone already and she was making jokes about watching me with another woman while my brain was shutting down. I held my lip between my teeth and used my grip on her hair to hold her in place while I rocked my hips forward and back just a little. I wasn’t sure if I could keep it together.
“If I black out, it’s cool, your mouth feels amazing—‘’
The intercom buzzed loudly, interrupting my train of thought. I paused for a second.
“Are you okay in there?” said the operator.
I dropped my hold on Louisa’s hair, but she sucked me in as deep as she could, hollowing her cheeks on the way out. Humming at the tip. My head fell back. Fuck.
“So, so good—yeah,” I answered a little wobbly. It definitely sounded like I was getting my dick sucked.
