"I can't," Naomi cried. "They'll kill me."

"Who's they?"

Before Naomi could answer, a van pulled up next to them, the side door opening, and two men jumped out, grabbing each of them.

It happened so fast, she couldn't fight. They ripped her clutch out of her hand and shoved her into the van, throwing her bag and Naomi's out of the vehicle before the door closed. The two masked men towered over them, as the van careened around a curve, throwing her head against the wall. She winced in pain, as Naomi began to cry.

"Who are you?" she demanded. "Where are you taking us?"

Neither one answered, but one of them did point his gun in her direction, which made her immediately shut up. She had to find a way to get out of this, but she had no idea what to do, and all she could think about was Tyler coming back from his call, wondering where she was, having no idea what had just happened.

As she struggled to sit up, one of the men grabbed her and pulled something out of his pocket, pressing it against her mouth and nose, forcing her to inhale the sickly-sweet scent that was going to knock her unconscious.

Tyler would come looking for her. She knew he would. He'd bring the full force of the FBI with him, but she was afraid he might be too late.

Chapter Twenty-Four

Rachel was gone.

The shocking thought ran around and around in Tyler's head as he discovered she'd followed some woman down a stairwell and into the parking lot where two guys in a van had grabbed them both and taken off.

He'd found her bag and Naomi's on the ground near the abduction site, so there was no way to trace their phones.

Now, he was jogging down the hall to his office, where he'd already alerted his team to the situation. When he entered the suite, Jason was standing in the middle of the room going over what had happened to all the available agents in the room. "Tyler," he said, concern on his face. "Any updates?"

"No," he ground out. "We need to find Rachel fast. And I need to know the identity of the woman she was with."

"Naomi Randall," Zane said. "She's a PA at the hospital where Rachel works."

"She must be the link between East River and Waverly."

"Naomi must have gone to the hospital to check on Megan," Kara put in.

"That's my guess. But I doubt she went there on her own," he said grimly. "Someone sent her there."

"Maybe to lure Rachel out of the building," Kara suggested.

His gut twisted at that thought. Why on earth had he left Rachel alone for even a second?

"It looked like both women were grabbed up and thrown into the van in the same manner," Zane said. "The security office at St. Anne's sent over the video footage."

He'd already watched the footage, and he didn't think he could stomach seeing it again. "We need to find out where that van went."

"My team is on it," Wes said, stepping into the room. "We'll find it."

He appreciated Wes's confidence, but he didn't feel nearly that certain, nor did he know how much time they had. "I'm going to Waverly. I need to talk to Dr. Levitan."

"It's after five. The building is probably closed," Zane said.

"Then I'll go to his house. I am talking to him tonight, and we need that goddamned search warrant."

"I'm working on it," Jason said. "I think we'll have it within the hour."

"That might not be fast enough," he said as he and Zane headed out the door and down to the parking lot. They jumped into the vehicle he'd left by the elevator, and he drove across town as fast as he could. "I can't believe Rachel ran after Naomi," he said, still caught up in that thought. "Why did she do that?"

"She was trying to get information," Zane replied. "And Rachel works with the woman. I doubt she thought Naomi was a danger to her."

"She should have thought she was dangerous the second she saw her at St. Anne's."
