Oz turned to check on me, and I enthusiastically leaned into Shelton, giving him my undivided attention. Reese was right—I was very much a contributing factor to my own lackluster dating history.
By the time Shelton released me, Ozzie was gone. All the ruckus had sort of killed the vibes for me, and Shelton agreed to take me home.
Back at my place, I was sitting in Shelton’s lap on my porch, in the hopes of taking our relationship to the next level. I was still hot and bothered over the incident with Oz, and I needed Shelton to help satiate my desperate need to be fucked.
“Kiss me like you mean it. Like you can’t get enough of me.” Until this point, our kisses had been respectful and PG without the 13.
“Okay, I can do that.”
Shelton pressed his lips against mine, and I parted my mouth, inviting him inside. His tongue was timid. I was waiting for something deep within him to ignite, but all I was getting was lip burn from his coarse mustache. Kissing him was like kissing my cousin—not like that was something I’d ever tried, but the thought just turned my stomach.
I grabbed his shirt collar and dialed up the seduction. “Tell me I’m a dirty slut.”
He pulled away, his face ashen. “No, I won’t. I don’t feel comfortable saying that.”
“Oh… okay.” Nice guys who were just nice guys were overrated. I nipped at his lip. “We can workshop it. Can you call me a dirty girl?”
“Yeah, yeah, I could do that.” He seemed eager to please. Maybe he wasn’t a lost cause after all. “You are a dirty girl.”
“Mmm. How dirty am I?” My tongue teased his earlobe.
“Like dishes left in the sink for a week.”
“Filthy.” I sank my fingers into his soft curls.
“And there’s a smell.”
Pushing him away, I recoiled. “Beg your pardon?”
“No, no, no. Oh God, no. I’m not good at this. You smell amazing.”
Releasing a quick huff, I reset. “I taste even better.”
He swallowed hard. “I would like to experience that.”
“Is your tongue strong enough? ’Cause I’m a rider.”
Shelton’s face crumpled like a sneeze was tickling his nose. “I think I’m gonna cream my pants.”
“No, don’t do that, please don’t do that.” My voice was similar to an alarm bell.
“Oh, oh…” His face contorted and he shuddered, gripping my shoulder hard. “Fuuuuuuuck.”
Fuck! “Did you just nut on my porch?”
“Yes, you got me so worked up. Dial, you are the hottest woman I’ve ever met. I can clean myself up—”
Jumping to my feet, I resisted the urge to gag. “No, that nut was for me and you wasted it, so get the fuck off my porch.”
“What?”
Up until now I’d been all peaches and cream, but the good-girl act was wearing thin. “You heard me—go, and don’t come back until you can satisfy a woman.”
Shelton tripped down the steps in shock before jumping in his car and speeding away. That had been rude, and if it was any other night I’d have been more understanding, but I needed relief and it was clear Shelton was not up to it. Collecting my phone from my purse, I opened a specific thread of text messages.
