“This dick,” she groaned.

“Nah, I’m serious.” She wasn’t the only one in search of affirmations. These moments together were fleeting, but her words would sustain me until our next encounter.

Dial’s hips stilled and she cupped my face. “Ozzie Palmer, you’re loyal, to a fault. Always there for your friends and family. And I know if I was ever in a pinch, I could call and you’d drop everything to get to me.”

How could I not be in love when she said shit like that? “I thought you were gonna say I had really nice penmanship,” I joked to dull the emotions I was dangerously close to being taken over by.

Dial’s soft laughter rang out. A sincere laugh, the type that reached her eyes, causing the corners to slightly crinkle. Our bodies resumed the frantic back-and-forth, with Dial planting kisses along my neck.

“Help me make it deeper,” she begged.

Sitting forward, I grabbed hold of her ass and assisted so that each time she came down on my shaft, she let out a low moan. I loved the range of emotions Dial expressed during sex: a whisper of a smile that let me know when I’d hit the spot. Her head swinging left to right in disbelief over how good our bodies felt together even after all this time. The hint of anger in her cognac eyes that of late had punctuated all of our sexual encounters. I didn’t know if she was mad at me for always being available or mad at herself for allowing me access.

Like muscle memory, her pussy surrounded my dick, gripping so tight it curled my toes. Kissing Dial was all I wished for when my head hit the pillow at night. But it was her one real rule. She’d broken all the other promises she’d made to herself when it came to me, but no kissing was a hill she was prepared to die on. Not fucking her mouth with mine was hard, but I tried to distract myself with the soft skin around her nipples.

“Tell me what you need,” I said.

“Oz—”

“It’s just you, me, and Willie Jones playing on the radio, so don’t be shy.”

“I just wanna shut my brain off for a few minutes.”

“Consider me your guide.” I repositioned us so I was now on top and completely in control. Dial wrapped her legs around me while opening wide. Bracing my hand on the door, I drove deep, and each thrust was rewarded by enthusiastic cries from Dial.

“Fuck this pussy, Ozzie.”

I took her words as a mandate, fucking her dizzy until her juices were dripping onto the leather upholstery. The obscene moans and Dial’s gushy center had me on the edge of release.

“Come on this dick, Dial.” I pressed my thumb against her lower back and she shivered. Don’t ask me why this worked, but when she was close, that finger placement sent her tumbling. Once I was certain her orgasm was secured, my love burst free. It was like she was pulling a satin ribbon through me, leaving me warm and tingling inside.

After several kisses to her forehead, I slid out, and Dial positioned herself next to me in the back seat. Grabbing my shirt, I draped it over her so she would be warm and pulled my pants up from around my ankles before settling in next to her.

“Are you hungry?”

“Someone interrupted my dinner plans, so yes.”

“I have a large meat lover’s pizza… your favorite.”

Dial wrinkled her nose. “That’s not my favorite.”

“I know. You love the chicken Ceasar salad pizza, with extra dressing, and croutons. But for some stinking reason you always managed to steal a slice from my pie.”

“Variety is the spice of life.”

Propping the pizza box on the center console, I grabbed napkins from the glove compartment and handed her a slice.

Dial moaned around her first bite. “Beer would make this moment perfect.”

I hitched forward, fishing around on the floor of the passenger seat for the six-pack I’d purchased before heading to Melting Mozz. The blush on Dial’s face made me swoon at how events had aligned to bring us here, the back seat of my truck, with pizza and two semi-cold beers.

“Do you remember the treehouse?” Dial asked before popping a slice of pepperoni in her mouth.

“How could I forget?”

“I’ve been thinking about childhood a lot, maybe because my parents up and moved and never really looked back.”

“I wish Ernest would take an extended vacation.”
