“All?” I repeat.

Camila nods like this is a group consensus I somehow missed. “We’ve known for years. You’re terrible at hiding your feelings for him.”

My heart stutters.

Not because they know.

But because if they know…

“Do you think Juliet knows?” The question slips out before I realize what I’m confirming.

“No.” Blair snorts. “Absolutely not.”

“The three of you started as such good friends from the beginning,” Carly says. “So I just think it all seems normal to Juliet.”

That should make me feel better, but it doesn’t. Because I never thought of us as the three amigos.

“What about Vinny?” I ask. “Do you think he suspects…something?”

“Completely clueless,” Camila says immediately.

Relief loosens a little bit of the tightness in my chest.

“But maybe he should know,” Camila adds. “Like, maybe you should tell him how you feel before he marries someone else.”

My head snaps toward her.

“Yeah,” Blair says, nodding. “You’re running out of time to tell him how you feel.”

I actually lean back, like the suggestion physically pushed me. “I’m not telling Vinny how I feel.”

“Why not?” Carly asks.

“Because he doesn’t need to know,” I snap. “Nobody does. And I’d appreciate it if you all never brought this up again.”

“Emma,” Camila says gently, “if you don’t tell Vinny how you feel, then he’s going to marry Juliet for sure. Don’t you at least want to give yourself a chance at happiness with him?”

I stare at her. “And what? Destroy my best friend in the process? Is that what you’re suggesting? That I break up Juliet and Vinny?”

“No,” Camila says quickly. “Of course we don’t want Juliet to get hurt.”

“But we think you and Vinny belong together,” Blair adds.

Carly looks at me through the rearview mirror. “Have you watched Vinny lately?”

“What do you mean?” I’m always watching Vinny.

“I don’t know.” Carly shrugs. “He just doesn’t seem like a guy who’s excited to get married to the love of his life in two weeks.”

I shake my head. “He’s always been weird about commitment. It stems from his dad leaving them.”

“But what if it has less to do with his dad and more to do with you?” Carly asks.

“You keep saying he doesn’t feel anything for you.” Camila glances at me. “I’m not sure that’s true.”

“Trust me.” A humorless laugh puffs over my lips. “He doesn’t feel the same way.”

Blair shoots me a pointed look. “How do you know?”
