“Our uncles aren’t a problem, Dom. If we’re working under Enzo now, we don’t need them or their approval anymore. Although, I’m surprised they haven’t flown over under the circumstances?” She pauses, tapping her chin with her finger. “We’re done with the old way of working and moving into the twenty-first century. So, when they call you can tell them there is no acceptance, they’re either with us or against us; it’s not a discussion,” Gianna says carefully.

I bet those bastards are no different from her father. All cut from the same cloth of abusers.

“And what if they come after you for killing our father in retaliation if we push them?” Dom counters.

I catch Romeo grinning beside Dom and clench my fist.

“Then we fight back,” I interject. “That’s the point of these alliances; one family's war is all of our battles. You’ll have men fighting in your corner from across the globe. Do you think your uncles can deal with that?”

Dom swallows. “No. They won’t last a day. Unless they’ve made allies we don’t know about?”

“There is only one person I can think of who would align with your uncles. And they wouldn’t dare come into my territory,” Enzo adds coolly, with such spite in his tone I swear the room chills.

“So let them come after me.” Gianna shrugs. “I don’t give a shit if our uncles die; they mean nothing to me.”

I smile at her response.

“And Levi? Has he come back with anything?” Dom asks.

She shakes her head. “No. Nothing. Probably lying low; he knows what I’ll do if he comes near me again.”

A knot twists in my stomach. I didn’t like the way Levi looked at her, that smug, shit-eating grin he had, as if he was one step ahead of the game.

For a small-time drug runner, he had way too much confidence. “Levi won’t become an issue; he set foot into our territory, so we will deal with him,” I tell them.

“Levi?” Hunter asks.

I turn to face him at the head of the table. “Yeah. A motorcycle gang, Twisted Serpents, moved in. They wanted an in with us to move drugs into Vegas. I told him unless he wants Miki to decapitate him, then he needs to fuck off.”

“He worked with my father; he’s a little rat. I don’t trust him,” Gianna mutters.

Hunter lets out an exasperated sigh. “We got a biker gang problem?”

“Nah. Not a problem; we neutralized that before it became an issue, don’t worry,” I tell him.

Enzo pulls out his phone and starts typing away. “I’ll pull up everything I can on all of them; better to be safe.”

Gianna grins. “Any chance there will be any blackmail material in that file?”

Enzo chuckles. “I’ll make sure there is dirt on all of the members.”

“I like working with you already,” Gianna says.

By the time the meeting wraps up, Enzo heads out first, followed by Romeo and Dom close behind. Ace is all but running out of the door because Harper felt sick this morning and he’s in full panic mode, leaving me and G with Hunter, Jett, and a silent Tate.

“Colt, can I speak to you after this?” Hunter asks.

Here we go; I’ve been waiting for Hunter to switch into fatherly advice mode. Like I want life advice from a man who can’t even decide on a name for his daughter. One minute she was Amelia Willow Sterling, and now, we all have to call her Willow.

“I’ll meet you back home,” G whispers.

I shake my head, trying to ignore the pang in my chest at hearing her call it home. “No. Your ass stays right here. I’ve got a fantasy I need to live out.”

I lean back in my chair. “I need a moment with Gianna. I’ll meet you in your office in fifteen.”

Jett cackles from the other end of the table. “Man, we eat at this table. Don’t make a mess.”

I grin. “I know how to clean up after myself, Jett.”
