Well, I've got a very handsome man right here.

And I'm curious.

Carefully, I slip out from beneath his arm and swing one leg across his waist, settling astride him.

His eyes open immediately.

Of course they do.

One dark eyebrow rises.

“Morning, wildfire.”

“Morning.”

He looks down at where I'm sitting, then back at my face.

“Something I can help you with?”

“Actually, yes.”

His mouth twitches.

“Should I be worried?”

“Probably.”

I lean forward and kiss him.

He lets me take the lead, one hand resting lightly against my waist.

When I pull back, he's watching me with an expression that makes my cheeks heat.

“What?” I ask.

“Just wondering what you're planning.”

I straighten, trying to look more confident than I feel.

“I thought I'd try being on top.”

Torch goes very still.

Then he grins.

“Well, hell, sweetheart.”

“What?”

“Nothing.” His hands settle at my hips. “Just didn't expect you to wake up looking for trouble.”

I lean down until my lips nearly touch his.

“You keep calling me wildfire.”

“Yeah?”

“Maybe you should stop acting surprised when I get curious.”
