When Wyatt meant another round, he meant four. My body was spent, and even though the night ended in a nice bath, I think another soak in epsom salt would be fantastic.
I don’t know how he did it. How he had so much fucking energy and got up this morning, not complaining of any pain. Which was wild to me, considering the force he was slamming into me last night. My entire body was sore this morning.
I sat up in his bed, wearing one of his shirts before I swung my legs over the edge, trying to find the strength in me to get out of this bed and walk down into the kitchen.
“I can do this,:” I mutter to myself. I instantly groan as I push myself out of bed, putting my hand on the nightstand to steady myself.
Yeah, this man did a number on me.
Hurts his ankle, but yet can manage to go five rounds no problem. He’s a robot, I swear.
After I winced down each step, I finally found myself in the kitchen, seeing Wyatt at the stove. His sweatpants were hung low on his waist, his sculpted torso on full display. Now this was a sight I loved seeing in the morning.
Wyatt glanced behind him before he fully turned his head and smirked. “Surprised you got out of bed.”
I glare at him, sitting down at the counter, rubbing my eyes. “And I have to go sit at a baseball game today? I’m mad at you.”
“You weren’t mad when you were begging for me to fuck you last night,” he shrugs, turning back to whatever he was cooking. “Hope you’re hungry, I made french toast.”
My mouth was watering even at the smell of the delicious breakfast. “Considering I haven’t eaten since before the game yesterday? I think french toast sounds amazing right now.”
He nods, putting some on a plate and sets it in front of me. “Your arms good? Or do I need to cut the toast for you too?” He jokes, that shit-eating grin still plastered on his lips. He was having way too much fun with this.
“My arms are fine. Your back has some new art, I see.” I say, gesturing to his back that was covered in red scratches.
“All the guys are going to give me shit for it, y’know.” he said.
I nodded, smiling back at him. “That’s the point. You ruin my legs, I ruin your back. I think we’re even.” I shrug, taking a bite of the french toast. “Oh, this is good..” I moan, my eyes fluttering shut as I take another bite.
Wyatt’s eyes narrowed at me. “So now you’re testing me…”
“With what? Me just enjoying my breakfast? Thought you would be spent.” I tease.
“Baby, I could never be spent with a girl like you. I could fuck you for days if you allowed me to,” he says nonchalantly. “But, I’m a gentleman, so I make sure to know your limits.”
I roll my eyes. “You’re so nice,” I say with a sarcastic tone.
He leaned over and gave my lips a quick peck. “I know. That’s why you love me.”
“Arguable.”
He gasped dramatically. “I’m never cooking for you again.”
I shake my head fast. “Wait, no. I love you, I’m sorry.” I say quickly, watching as he just starts laughing.
I glare over at him as he takes a seat next to me, starting on his breakfast.
“You have an off day tomorrow, do you want to come with me to see my parents?” I ask and his eyes widen and I swear he almost chokes on his food.
“Pardon?”
“I don’t think I stuttered,” I said. “Come with me to my parents’ house tomorrow. My mom would love to see you.”
Wyatt nods slowly. “Yeah, and I’m sure your father would love to beat me to a crumble.”
I reach across, putting my hand over his. “I promise you he wouldn’t,” I give his hand a gentle squeeze. “Just be yourself, and be calm. We won’t stay long.”
He stays quiet for a second, thinking this over.
