At first, having Belladonna in our heads was weird, but we soon became accustomed to it. It was handy because if any of us got into trouble, we could reach her instantly.

“What’s that?” I asked, studying the report Sapphire had been glaring at.

“Cyber lifted it from the feds. There’s not enough evidence to charge the Bloody Femmes with that trafficking disaster.” Sapphire scowled.

“What?” I demanded, shocked. A while ago, Sapphire received a vision of a container crammed with one hundred and twenty-three men, women, and children. Only fifteen had survived. One of the dead bodies was found to be clutching a torn patch belonging to the BFs. The feds had been investigating, but they’d clearly dropped the ball.

“Yeah. They are convinced the BFs did it but can’t prove it. Fuckin’ bitches.” Sapphire slammed her hand down on the desk.

“We’ll get them,” I promised.

“There were babies and children in there,” Sapphire hissed.

“I know, and we will find them. Believe me,” I murmured.

Sapphire nodded. The Bloody Femmes had revenge heading their way, and we’d be the ones to dish it out.

Chapter Two.

Belladonna. Four weeks later–The night before Halloween

The mood in the club soured a bit when word got around that the Blood Femmes were escaping justice. We’d been at the front of that horror, and it had etched itself into our bones. The dead children would never leave us. We’d make sure the Bloody Femmes experienced everything their victims had.

My sisters required cheering, and I had the perfect solution. A grin crossed my lips. We were doing movie night later, but I’d arranged tickets for the club to attend a Scare Fest, and it was time to announce the good news.

“You did what?” Sapphire demanded, hands on hips.

“Booked us on a Fright Night Scare Fest.”

“You can’t have got enough for everyone,” Sapphire argued.

My eyes narrowed. “Yup, for all of us—the old men, Brielle, Gamma, and Pops—if they wish to come.”

“No, thanks, darlin’. I’m too old to be running around screaming,” Gamma called.

“She only enjoys me chasing her.” Pops winked.

Wylde groaned as Gamma giggled. “I didn’t need to know that,” he said, shaking his head.

“And I have tickets for the cops,” I continued, eyeing Wylde, who looked surprised. “He’s attached to Cassidy, Warrick, and Hatton.”

“Warrick’s a fireman,” Sparrow pointed out.

I sent her a stern glare, and she subsided. “Buckle up, bitches, we’re going.”

“Hold up, I thought we were doing movies?” Sapphire demanded. “I want to stay here and snuggle up with my boo.”

“Bitch, I’m pretending the president of an MC just didn’t call her man a boo,” I replied, shaking my head.

“Belladonna,” Sapphire ground out. “This is not what—”

“I don’t give a damn what we agreed to! Why can’t you say thanks and appreciate the effort I’ve put in? All I wanted was to celebrate Halloween and have some fun. The past few months have been tough for everyone. But no, you gotta bitch and moan. Fuck all of you!” I yelled and stomped off.

I’d give them ten minutes and one of them would be banging on my door to apologise. Just as I planned, they’d be guilted into attending. The things I did for my club!

Sapphire

I winced as Belladonna rushed upstairs to her apartment. Hayden pursed his lips and said nothing. Nun caught Blue’s eye, and he shook his head and moved away to sit down. His disappointment was obvious. Gamma tutted, and I flinched.
