“Do you think he needs a reminder that he wanted to be boring in the halls?” Zorin glanced between us, making Shiloh suck on his pacifier even stronger.

“I think he has weighed the options and has decided this is the safer one.” He would do anything possible to keep from having to talk about the objects he wanted in his rectum.

I was going to need to look at his belongings in more detail.

“We should respect his choices and just move quickly through the hall.” Somehow Zorin had made sure Shiloh was close to us, which could not have been a coincidence. “It is late enough that most individuals will be at their meal.”

Thankfully there were no official events tonight but we would not be so lucky going forward.

“I agree.” Looking down, he shifted the pile in his arms. “Do you think he needs anything else?”

Was that a leading question or a simple one?

Unfortunately, either way it was a question I had been anticipating. “That depends on where you would like him to sleep tonight.”

I seemed to have been the only one who’d thought of that based on how still they both went. Ignoring that seemed to be my best option, so I continued. “You don’t seem to be getting enough sleep, and based on what you’ve said about research that could only be happening at night. Littles need their Daddy to be relaxed and well-rested.”

More odd stillness.

“At the very least you will need to establish a bedtime routine with him and he will need to be tucked in.” It seemed logical but I was glad when Zorin started to nod like he was processing the topic.

“That is reasonable but I do not have to talk about my schedule.” His tone started out even but shifted as he finished.

I didn’t like how it sounded.

The word bratty felt like it would apply, so I found myself raising one eyebrow and sending disapproval through the bond. “Excuse me?”

I had heard several of the Dominants from Earth use the expression and it got shivers from both my males. After a few seconds of confusing emotions coming through the bonds from both of them, Zorin shifted to show apology. “It is possible that I have been staying up too late. It is probably a mate’s job to mention that.”

A mate’s job.

Yes.

That was all it was.

Zorin performed the Earth behavior of burying his head in the sand very well.

“Thank you for letting me take care of you.” It seemed to be the most neutral yet technically appropriate response I could give since anything domination-related confused him. “I have strong needs to make sure you are both taken care of, and this is one way you can let me do that.”

Shiloh blinked before his gaze darted between us, but he continued to suck on his pacifier to keep from having to discuss topics he found stressful.

Our frustrating mate seemed confused and like reality was not showing clearly to him, but he refused to ask any questions. “That is reasonable.”

Was he going to add anything else?

No.

He was stubborn, but at least he was not arguing with me?

“Thank you.” Moving us away from the confusing topic, I glanced toward our little Earth mate. “Littles should not sleep without supervision, especially with the number of distractions he has readily available. He should sleep with his Daddy.”

I was not going to get between a little and their Daddy, no matter how much I wanted to cuddle with my little Earthling. “I think it would be best if you looked at his clothing options and found something appropriate to sleep in and something for him to wear in the morning.”

And I was back to getting odd blinks from both of my mates.

It was a completely reasonable suggestion for several reasons, so I stayed quiet as they realized how correct their Master was.

Their Master.
