I looked down at my hand before studying his. “I have no limits against that.”
If I was the Dominant, the basic information I possessed said I was supposed to have limits around behavior that I approved of. Shiloh seemed to agree based on his nod. “Yes…I…”
That may not have been enough information to satisfy limits but he indicated agreement, so I took his hand. Zorin had too quickly adapted to their sounds because he huffed and moved to take Shiloh’s other hand. “He has two. We can share him.”
Toman placed his hand over his mate’s mouth and performed some kind of expression that may have indicated frustration. “No.”
Wren’s entire body seemed to deflate, but before I could figure out what had happened, Toman nodded toward the door. “There is a list of room assignments. My mate has lost his self-restraint, so please begin your tour before my mate makes yours uncomfortable.”
Earthlings were strange because my mate was back to being the worrying red color and Wren was groaning. Both of their displays were confusing, and so was the laughing sound called a giggle that the mated female from Earth produced. “This is so much fun.”
Why?
What was fun?
Were the people of Earth all this confusing?
“I have questions.”
Ugh.
Zorin was adapting too quickly to the people of Earth.
Chapter 6
Shiloh
How had I ended up in charge?
How?
Me?
My mates were…
Okay, positive things first.
Thinking negatively wouldn’t help.
Through our faint, new bonds I could feel they both had positive feelings for me. I wasn’t silly enough to pretend it was love but individually they both wanted a mate and didn’t have a problem with me.
They didn’t even mind my almost complete inability to talk when I got overwhelmed.
They should have, but we’d figure that out later.
Raxius was good at sending confidence and reassurance through the bond. He also seemed to have a good work ethic based on what Zorin had said.
Oh, and he wanted to make good choices for his sub.
Me.
There was no doubt from either of them that I was the sub, but the rest of it got confusing emotions from them and even odder arguments.
Zorin.
He was going to be the definition of an absentminded professor but also one that had a thing for manipulating people. He wasn’t subtle at all but it was kind of cute since he wasn’t aiming it at me. He was trying it on everyone else, though.
“The community is laid out almost like a square with…with an open space in the middle.” Raxius seemed like he had to think about that one for a moment. “There may be a word for that.”
