NYAH
TEN MINUTES EARLIER
Dear Diary,
Balcony sex is one way to celebrate overthrowing the patriarchy.
Iwashed blood off my hands in the gym bathroom until the water ran clear again. At some point during the process, I realized I was literally washing my father’s blood down the drain, and that maybe, some part of me should have felt bad about that.
But all I could think about was Luca, and the things Dax and I had said, and how bad I felt about all of it.
“He’s not going to hate you, Nyah.” Lynx wiped off his hands.
We both traipsed out of the gym and through the foyer, Lynx stopping where Bruno and Viktor stood, the three of them speaking in hushed tones, no doubt about the dead body of my father lying in the basement, waiting for removal.
I was sure I was in shock. I had to be, because I didn’t feel anything. No sadness or remorse for what we’d done.
The only regret I had was over Luca.
I was grateful when Lynx put his arm around me and guided me up the stairs, assuring me that by the time we woke up in the morning, Bruno and Viktor would have taken care of everything.
I laid my head against his arm, and we stepped into the bedroom I now thought of as ours, all four of us, even though it had originally been Luca’s.
Lynx and I both stopped at the sight of Dax and Luca on the balcony, kissing so passionately I couldn’t help but smile.
Lynx grinned too.
I elbowed him and whispered, “Jealous?”
He thought about it for a second, then shrugged. “No. Something changed with the two of them when we were in that basement. I could see it, even by the time I was thrown in there.”
I’d seen it too. The friendship that had become a brotherhood. I hadn’t realized there was an attraction behind it too. And hell, maybe there was a bit of a trauma bond going on between the two of them, but it didn’t matter to me.
As long as they were happy, so was I.
Lynx gazed down at me. “What are you smiling at?”
“Just over what a perv I am. Is it weird that I really like watching you guys together?”
He shrugged, tugging me down to sit on the bed beside him. “If you’re a perv, then I am too. Should we give them some privacy?”
I grinned. “Nope. If they wanted privacy they wouldn’t be kissing…oh wait, it turned into a hand job…on the balcony.”
Lynx stifled a laugh, and I shushed him, not wanting Luca or Dax to notice us sitting there, gossiping and watching.
Lynx studied them for a moment. “I give Dax a seven on technique. Bit fast for my liking.”
I held in a laugh. “Stop! You’re awful.” But then I frowned at him. “Wait, what do you rate my hand jobs? Higher or lower than Dax’s?”
Lynx pretended to think that over. “Hard to say when you don’t have your hand wrapped around my cock right now. Would be a lot easier to give you a score if it were.”
“That would be really pervy.”
“I think we already crossed that line when we noticed them but didn’t immediately shut the door.”
“We’re going to Hell.”
