Time freezes. My mouth goes dry. Like Beau, he’s making me say it out loud. Like Beau, he’s waiting for me to give him the green light. He’s so much bigger than me. So much stronger. He could take me apart with his bare hands and not even break a sweat.
And I want him. Badly.
“I want you to have your turn with me,” I tell him softly. I don’t have enough control to project. I’m shaking, still anticipating a rejection or a punishment for being too greedy, and somewhere in the back of my mind, the old me is cringing. Hard.
His jaw tightens.
“That’s about me,” he says. “What do you want?”
I don’t hesitate, even though my heart is trying to beat out of my chest, even though I can barely catch my breath, even though some part of me is still screaming that I need to shut this down before it goes any farther. Despite all of that, I don’t hesitate to tell him what he needs to hear.
“I want you, Emmett.”
Something snaps in the air between us. He crosses the room in two strides. He kisses me, hard and consuming. His huge hands are on me, cupping my face, pulling me into the kiss. I respond with everything I have, every moment of wanting that I’ve smothered under domestic tasks, every rush of warmth that washed through me when I used the balm he so lovingly made for me.
I pour all of that into him and he groans against my mouth, his hands falling to my waist, pulling my body hard against him. I gasp against his mouth. The sheer intensity of him is different from the twins. It’s hungrier. Wilder. Like the mountain itself is trying to consume me all at once.
I hear Hunter and Beau move closer across the living room. Emmett growls against my mouth, shooing them back with one hand. He reluctantly breaks the kiss and glares at the two of them. “You had your turn. It’s mine now.”
The possessiveness in his voice sends heat flooding through me. In this moment, I’m his and his alone. My heart thunders in my chest as he holds me in his huge, strong arms, pressing me against his hard body. He kisses me again, deep and rough, crushing the breath out of me.
“I had to lie up there and listen to the two of them fuck you,” he murmurs against my mouth. “Hear every sound you made. Lose my mind imagining what was happening.”
I gasp as heat flows through me. It’s not his words, it’s how he’s saying them. Like a dam broke and everything he’s been holding inside is rushing into me through his lips, releasing out of him like a geyser. The intensity is making me quiver in his arms.
He pulls back slightly, shooting a look at the other two before turning his full attention back on me. “Now they’re going to sit there and watch while I take my turn.”
Hunter and Beau groan in unison, deep sounds that go right to my core and only add to the heat of the moment.
“Are we opening up a betting pool for how long you’ll last?” Hunter asks with a cheeky grin, although his voice is a bit hoarse.
Beau snorts. “My money’s on three minutes.”
“You have to have money to bet money,” Emmett growls.
“Don’t worry, Josie. If he finishes too fast, I know a couple of willing volunteers who’ll get you where you need to go.” Hunter is really laying it on thick, but Emmett seems as unfazed by him as ever.
“I’ll get her there myself,” he says. “Want to bet money on how many times?”
I whimper, needing him to follow through, aching for him to take me over, clinging to him and pressing my body against his as firmly as I can. He picks me up with an ease that always makes my heart flutter a little, and I throw my arms around his neck, kissing him again. He lets me, for a moment, then pulls away and heads for the stairs.
The other two follow. We head upstairs, into one of the rooms I’ve never entered. Emmett’s room. In the center of the room is a big four-poster bed, carved of course, and that’s all I see. He lays me down on the bed and his hands are on me, touching me, trailing over me, feeling my curves. I press into his touch.
His rough hands slide under my shirt, pushing it up and over my head. He groans as he looks at me in my lacy bra, then he’s taking that off too. Panting, I look up at him. His eyes are practically glowing as they hungrily take me in. I’ve never felt more desirable. Sliding his hands down my belly, he hooks his fingers around the waistband of my sweatpants and peels them off.
I’m in nothing but panties now. He touches me over the thin fabric and I breathe a heavy sigh, lifting my hips to meet his hand. He lingers there for just a moment, letting the fabric slide over me as he rubs me with the palm of his massive hand. Now he’s slowly pulling them off, holding his breath as they roll down my thighs. I shiver at the intensity of his attention. He groans once I’m fully naked under his hands.
“Go easy on him,” Beau says, his voice husky. “It’s been a while.”
I blink at that, pulled out of the moment by the information. Emmett shoots Beau a glare, but he doesn’t deny it. I shouldn’t ask, but I kind of need to know. Just how easy do I need to go on him?
“How long?” I ask, my heart still thundering from his attention.
Emmett doesn’t answer at first. His eyes have stopped wandering over me and I feel almost cold at the loss of his undivided attention. He takes a long breath in, then his slate gray eyes meet mine.
“Years,” he says, his voice rough. “I stopped counting.”
I’m stunned. I can’t believe that someone as attractive as Emmett would go years without this kind of attention. “How?”
