“Such a good Little Pet,” he praises me.

“Pleasure?” I can’t help but ask.

Daddy shakes his head. “No pleasure today. The customer I was talking to you about yesterday is coming today, so we need to go talk to him.”

“But you said that I was a good girl,” I point out

“I did say you were a good girl.”

“And I asked for it as well. You said that you would give me pleasure whenever I ask for it,” I argue.

“Daddy said that if I could give you pleasure whenever you ask, I would, but you were a little naughty earlier. We also have a customer coming in, which means I can’t give you pleasure right now,” Daddy explains.

“Daddy,” I whine.

Daddy shakes his head once again, giving me a firm look. “If you continue whine, you’re not going to get any pleasure, and you’ll find yourself over my lap with a hot bottom and your butt plugged. This time, I’ll make sure to walk you around the apartment so you can feel the plug all you want and not be able to do anything about it. Would you like that instead?”

“No, Daddy,” I mumble.

Daddy picks me up and walks out of the house and toward the workshop.

“Can I have a diaper or a shirt on?” I ask.

That is another thing he has started to change. Ever since I passed out yesterday, he let me wear a diaper once, and afterward he kept it off me. Something about me wanting to ask him if I can go to the bathroom and him wanting me to use the pee pads.

“No diaper or shirt. He won’t be able to see you, and there’s a pee pad in your kennel that you can use,” Daddy says as he sets me on the ground. “Now, crawl into the kennel. I’m going to lock it.”

“Do you need to?” I ask. “What if something happens, and you can’t get to me, and I need to get out of the kennel? You’re not going to leave me, right?”

Daddy squats in front of me and cups my face. “I’m not going to leave you. I want to lock the kennel so that you can’t be naughty and find yourself hurt. I haven’t been able to clean up the workshop to make it more baby-proof for you.”

“I don’t need it baby-proofed. I’m not a baby,” I grumble.

“I know you aren’t a literal baby, but you are my Little Pet, and I don’t want you to get hurt. A lot of these things are bigger than you. I don’t want one to accidentally fall on top of you and me not get to you soon enough,” Daddy gently coos at me. “You are far too precious for that, and I don’t want anything bad to happen to you.”

When Daddy puts it like that, it makes more sense to me. Not that I’m ever going to admit that, but I can see it.

“Daddy is going to turn off your translator while the customer is in here. Normally, I wouldn’t do so, but the man knows you’re going to be here. He asked me to turn it off. I don’t want to make him uncomfortable,” Daddy explains.

“I’m not going to be able to understand either of you?” I ask, worry seeping into my voice.

What if they talk about wanting to leave me and Daddy actually does?

Daddy cups my face. “Nothing like that is going to happen, so I don’t want you to think anything bad. And before you ask, no, I don’t know what you were thinking, but your expression switched to being worried and sad. I’m not going to leave you. I wouldn’t turn off your translator unless it was something super important. This man asked that it be turned off, but I’m going to let all my customers know that after today your translator cannot be turned off whatsoever. They’re just going to have to be comfortable with that. Daddy just needs you to hold on a little bit right now while this customer comes in. I won’t be long, and I’ll make sure that you can see me the whole time.”

It’s reassuring to hear him say that, but the worry still forms inside of me.

“Can you be my brave girl? When everything is over, Daddy will reward you.” Daddy asks. “Do you think you can do that?”

“Okay,” I whisper.

Daddy gives me a reassuring smile before I crawl into the kennel, wrapping the blanket around myself. The pee pad is at the end of the kennel, and my face flushes when I stare at it. Daddy fed me this morning, and I have yet to use the bathroom. I know that the next time I go, I’m going to have to use a pee pad.

How does Daddy not see that as humiliating?

“If you need to go to the bathroom, use the pee pad. If you need anything, you can call out my name, and I’ll come right to you. While I have to turn off your translator, that doesn’t mean you can’t get my attention if you need anything. And I mean anything at all. Your health and well-being come first, so if you find yourself getting super overwhelmed with not being able to understand everything, tell me,” Daddy says, giving me a pointed look. “Promise?”

“Promise,” I manage to get out.
