I sigh dramatically and slide off the mattress, Beck’s cum leaking out of me as I make my way to her side of the bed.
I hold my hand out to her. “Fine.”
She takes it, and I tug her from under the blanket but don’t let her walk off right away. I pull her naked body to me—everything about touching her and feeling her against me makes every cell of my body sing, and any unease I was feeling disappears.
“You’re good, too, right? Seeing me like that last night and with Beck this morning wasn’t too much?”
She sighs dreamily. “It was perfect. You were perfect.”
“Good.” I lean back to fully observe her. “You look happy.”
“I am,” she replies, her eyes glimmering. “I’m glad we came here.”
“Me, too, Sunshine.” I hug her to me once more and kiss the top of her head just like Beck did. The warmth in my chest cracks a little, and given the way Quinn squeezes me back, I have a feeling she’s thinking the same thing.
Beck should be here with us, too.
Anticipation to get through today so we can see him again builds in my gut, and I pull away from Quinn, tugging her toward the bathroom.
“Come on. Let’s go get clean so I can dirty you again.”
Her laughter floats through the air, and I close the door behind us, kissing her so thoroughly I know we’re going to be late to our session with Hazel—but I don’t think either of us care.
Chapter thirty-six
Beck
Hazel sits across from me with a knowing look on her face, and I rub my hand over my beard.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” I ask.
She raises a brow, leaning back in her chair. We’re seated in her living room, all our guests currently on break before their last one-on-one sessions with their mentors this evening. It’s the final session of the retreat besides the closing Hazel will hold tomorrow, where everyone will share final takeaways and say their goodbyes before they leave on Sunday morning. I can’t believe how fast the retreat has flown by.
I’m here to check in with her. All the mentors do at this point in the process. But so far, she’s just been staring at me like she can see into my soul.
“Like what?” she chirps.
“Like you know something I don’t.”
Her tinkling laughter echoes through the room. “Maybe I do.”
“Care to share with me?”
She taps her fingernails on the arms of her chair. “Do you remember me telling you before the retreat that I had a gut feeling things were about to change for you?”
The conversation we had last Friday floats to the surface. It feels like it took place years ago with everything that’s happened since then. “Yes, I remember.”
“And they have, have they not?”
The hairs on my arms stand up, but I play coy because I want to know what she means. “Do I appear different?”
She sits forward in her seat. “I’m curious to know what you think before I muddy your thoughts with my own.”
I think of Noah’s hazel eyes and Quinn’s pale-blue ones. They are all I’ve been able to think about all day—for days now, actually—and even more so after what we’ve shared in the past twenty-four hours.
Having sex with Noah again, sleeping with Quinn for the first time, and the level of intimacy we’ve shared is unreal. Every part of me agreed with their sentiments this morning. I could very much get used to waking up with them every day and sharing our bodies intimately...forever.
It’s a dream I’ve only ever had with Noah before he dashed them ten years ago.
