“We should dance,” McKelle said and grabbed Brenna by the hand. “Come with us, Jaymi.”
Jaymi rested her hands on my thighs as she stood in front of me. “Will you come with me?”
I slid my hands onto her ass and pulled her closer. She was all sweet curves and thick thighs. “Every time.”
She slicked her lips with her tongue. “That sounds cryptic.”
I stared into her eyes and spoke low. “Baby, there’s nothing secret about how much I want to fuck you.”
She shifted her gaze at Kodiak then refocused on me. “Dance with me first.”
Chapter Seven
Jaymi
The beat of the music matched the tempo of my heart. The warmth of whiskey and arousal flowed through my veins. Brett danced behind me, his hands roaming over me, and his mouth doing wicked things to my neck.
In the last ten minutes, I’d met so many girls that I couldn’t remember all their names. I wouldn’t forget Levi because of how often Lili mentioned Romeo. And Stormy because she’d been the first to approach us and ask of Lili. Brett gave the same answer he’d given Pike. Natalie had changed the plan for tonight.
He hadn’t mentioned the restraining order. I hadn’t said much at all. The anonymity made me brave. I kissed him, teased, and flirted. I wasn’t like these girls, but I knew what I wanted.
Another night with him.
Another dance as another song played. Another kiss. Another chance for him to call me baby.
I swayed my body, letting the whiskey warm me while Brett’s hands skated over my hips and onto my ass. Next to me, a girl wore a cut with Property of Blade on the back. She was beautiful and belonged here in the MC in ways I never would. Her body was covered in ink, and she laughed and danced. Everyone seemed to know everyone.
Another girl, Jazzy, wore a cut just like the guys. She popped a lollipop out of her mouth. “Leave your girl with us,” she said to Brett.
Brett laughed. “Not a fucking chance. You’ll scare her off.”
“I obviously don’t scare you since you broke a club rule when you missed the vote, and you don’t seem particularly concerned with the repercussions.”
“Yeah, I know. I had a situation come up. Couldn’t be helped. I know you’ll have a lecture for me and some sage advice like every choice is a seed; prepare for the harvest. I’ll give you all the fertilizer later.”
Her brows pinched, and she laughed. “What?”
“I’ll tell you all the shit later. Not here. Not now. Trust me, Jazzy. It’s a shitshow.”
The group seemed to grow quiet. Brett raked his fingers through his hair. I hated this for him.
“I’m good,” I said stepping up to him. “We both know I don’t scare easy.”
“I need to pee.” McKelle linked her arm with mine.
“I do, too,” I said.
“Get her another drink while were gone.” McKelle smirked. “Have Rizz put it on my tab. I owe you ten bucks.”
I stumbled as she dragged me across the room. We made our way out of the chapel and down a long hallway.
“Our room has a bathroom.”
“You live here?” I asked.
“Not technically.” McKelle opened the door to a large bedroom. “This is Cruz’s and Ryatt’s room. Rizz,” she clarified. But I’d already assumed she meant both her boyfriends. “I’m always here on the weekends.” She pointed to the door on the left as she plopped down on the edge of the bed. “You can go first.”
“Thanks.” I hurried into the bathroom.
